Hope you would vote for anyone other than Biden. Would be a pleasant surprise.

Barnes is in deep with the Trump campaign along with Baris. The thing I find most interesting about this is that it is such a self own for Trump. It's saying that Trump was basically ready to make DeSantis his VP and DeSantis declined. That means that Trump thought highly enough of him that he wanted him on the ticket with him and the only thing that has changed is that DeSantis said no.
He wanted to train him to take over the job.
That was very nice of Trump. However DeSantis believed he was better for the job now. The point you are missing is that means that Trump clearly saw him as his heir apparent so any opposition to him is purely personal and not based on him being a "Globalist" or "RINO" or any of the other nonsense Trump is trying to push. It proves that Trump doesn't oppose him for any other reason than ego.

We won't vote trump, but I can speak for myself only, I won't vote Biden either.

Unless he wants to learn how to make up idiotic 3rd grade nicknames and or to speak like a moron, DeSantis has zero to learn from trump.

To be fair, Trump has some great insights on foreign policy and trade. Problem is that he has never been a mentor type and my guess is if he had DeSantis as VP at some point DeSantis would bother him and he would throw him under the bus.

I don't think that is an endorsement anymore than Soros saying he thinks DeSantis could win it all was an endorsement of DeSantis.

Kristol has already called for people to vote Democrat in order to "purge" of the GOP of Trumpism. All he is saying is right now Trump is the one to beat, which is basically a "thanks captain obvious" moment.

But Trumpsters tend to have very binary thinking so no surprise some take it as an endorsement.

Of course not, I just think it is funny that Trump is actually publicizing anything Kristol says about him that is designed to be a complement. It's apparent that Kristol, based on his recent Tweets, is far more nervous about DeSantis than Trump.

I agree with Stephen Miller and the other Trump folks. Trump should just drop out and endorse DeSantis so we can focus on beating the Democrats next year!

BTW, Trump folks are pushing this because Trump is sucking wind on fundraising. That's also why he isn't doing those big rallies that cost a ton of cash.

another badge of honor for Donald Trump

"Two Trump advisers briefed on Monday's meeting said they continue to believe Smith will finalize a charging decision in coming weeks.

The advisers said they are preparing for another potential indictment of the former president, and the meeting did not change their expectations."

So Trump and his cultists force the country to spend 7 entire years debating Donald Trump rather than how to best serve the interests of the United States.

Remember the 2020 stolen election.

Sorry you can't steal 2024.

Name one thing trump did to combat mail in ballots or early voting or dropboxes in 2020?

Name one thing trump's going to do different in 2024?

Complain about it more.

The reality is Trump's staff and campaign are a shell of what they were, he has very few competent people around him and they all have essentially had to pledge fealty to him. To take on the fights he is talking about takes a tremendous amount of organization, money, people, and a clear purpose with a leader behind it. He has none of the above.

I was listening to Tim Pool yesterday and he just thought it was so amazing that Trump said that he didn't need 2 terms to fix the country that he would do it in 6 months. Then he said "Trump will just come in and fire everybody!" and then he just moved on. Only an idiot thinks it is that simple. Even if you could somehow just "fire everyone" you have to have a massive team in place ready to replace them and a plan to deal with the huge backlash and legal challenges. It's not like the Deep State is going to just sit back and go, "Well, Trump was elected so I guess we are all just gone now and we should accept our fate. Woah is us!" Anyone who thinks that is a moron.
Only an idiot claims that "Trump will just go in and fire everyone"

because obviously there are US government civil service protections.

and if it WAS that easy- why didn't Trump DO IT IN THE FOUR YEARS HE WAS PRESIDENT?!!?

Because Kristol, like anyone who doesn't like Trump, knows that the most effective way to do damage to him and his brand is for him to get the nomination and then lose for the second time against Biden.

I'm finally coming around to believing that Trump is only running to raise what he can and try to avoid jail- how else can you explain such an unserious campaign? Regardless of what the polls say now (I have no problem believing Trump has the lead as of now) how can anyone expect Trump to win with so little organization?

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had advance knowledge of the FBI's August 8 raid on President Donald J. Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate but chose not to warn him that an army of federal goons was about to descend on Palm Beach like a swarm of locusts, according to a new White Hat study General Eric M. Smith shared with his council on Tuesday.

The report, authored by U.S. Army Cyber Command and Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command, asserts that DeSantis entertained AG Merrick Garland at the governor's mansion in Tallahassee on July 25, two weeks ahead of the raid. It states that the joint cyber command task force acquired surveillance footage of Garland and two unidentified men arriving at DeSantis' home at 8:00 p.m. that evening.

DeSantis might have been fishing for dirt to further impugn Trump's unimpeachable character, our source added.

So, DeSantis working with the swamp to dig up dirt on Trump. Not shocked.

So is that lawful to warn people ahead of an FBI raid? Any pro-Trump source has lost a LOT of credibility,so I am not putting any trust in that report at all. But even if it is... that seems like a straight up illegal thing to do, no matter if you agree with the raid or not.

Is it even legal to warn someone of an upcoming raid if he learns that information due to his role as governor?
