Depends on what "base" you are talking about. The hardcore, Trump is God base is maybe 10-15%. Most Trump folks can be flipped. The next big challenge for DeSantis honestly is going to be selling his economic chops. He's focused on the Woke stuff which is great but he needs both, people can't just see him as purely a guy who cares about social issues. Good news is he has a great resume on economic issues.
