Newsweek huh. Not convinced...in fact, even more in doubt.
Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne, and myself founded empires; but upon what foundation did we rest the creations of our genius? Upon force! But Jesus Christ founded His upon love; and at this hour millions of men would die for Him. - Napoleon Bonaparte

It's going to be weird for Putin to have to come here to visit his good buddy Prez Trump in prison. Then we can arrest him for his war crimes in Ukraine.

I am not a leftist. I'm as conservative a country rancher as you'll find. But, if jailing Trump is what it takes to keep him off the Republican ticket, I'm all for it. Surely this great country can identify better leaders than Biden and Trump.

I'm sure you meant to type, "jailing Trump for crimes proven beyond the shadow of a doubt and done so in a manner circumscribed by the Constitution." I'll just assume that to be the case.
I meant what I said so quit trying to revise my position. If Trump could be jailed for pissing on his own foot, I'd support that as long as it kept him out of the presidential race. We should do better when it comes to picking the leader of the free world.

Yes we should try to get someone better. But lets be completely honest. Who in this world is good enough and virtuous enough to lead the free world? Heck who is good enough to lead any government? Who has no character flaws or is blameless? They are all flawed. We are all flawed. But what I HAVE seen is someone who defended our freedoms(freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to defend ourselves against those who would harm/abuse us, etc) against a media that is marching lockstep with a government hellbent on destroying/hurting us and our families. Families who want to be left alone. Let us work, worship and take care of our families. President Trump did that… he defended us. So i disagree with you and i will vote for him again even though i realize he is a very flawed man. Then again, so am I.

Trump is also a notoriously bad client. He can't shut his mouth when he needs to.

Well, that's fine. Don't call yourself a Conservative, you don't know what it means.

He will really get a shot in the poll (arm) then. Could put him even further out of reach.
Kamikaze voter wants to ensure the Democrats win perpetual control of the government in 2024 just for one more chance to vote for Trump.

How about under indictment or investigation just until the primary is over. Then he can stump for DeSantis. On second thought that would prob hurt DeSantis. So just go away but don't go away mad.

Nah, Putin is used to the idea of throwing political enemies in the gulag. You'd probably get along with Putin quite well.

We understand you mean what you say. But when they can arrest and imprison people falsely they will use that to silence the political opposition. Seems the Democratic Party leadership has warped our justice system so they may break the law routinely with no consequences.

I have to disagree with your stance that it would be OK to imprison anyone for political expediency, ever.
Among the latter, under pretence of governing they have divided their nations into two classes, wolves and sheep.”

Most popular with a quantity of voters that's smaller than the group where he's the least popular candidate. Pretty much any Republican but Trump has a strong chance of beating Biden/Harris. Trump has turned off too many Independents and carries too much baggage. Biden is too old (as is Trump) and simply doesn't impress. The Dems candidate cupboard is bare.

if he gets any jail time it should be served under house arrest. There is too much that could happen to him in prison and the country is already at an unstable inflection point

intentional. That's what they want. Chaos. Provocation for people to react will give the establishment more reason to keep seizing more permanent power.

Trump is living in a complete and total delusion.

He lost the second election even tough it was most likely stolen. He did not win the popular vote, although that is irrelevant. Even if he had won the EC, it would have been extremely close.

His endorsement is toxic unless one is running in a very safe state/district.

Sure most people he "endorsed" won, but almost all of those were going to win without him. The ones that mattered all lost.

The media is churning out polls with Trump up by up to 80 points, even in Florida.

A Trump connected poll has him up 10 over Biden, but DeSantis down 5 to Biden. Not possible, but Trump got the poll he paid for.

All that said, his base eats this stuff up and thinks it means he looks "tough" when everyone else sees it as the deranged rantings of someone losing a grip on reality.

What's puzzling to me is that trump keeps saying the election was stolen but I haven't heard one plan from him on what is going to do about it or do different this election.

Harmeet dhillon was going to create an army of volunteers to capitalize on mail in ballots and vote harvesting. Trump endorsed the female Mitt Romney who has absolutely no plan to do anything different in the next election.
