FNC is reporting this live. No clue as to which charges but Bragg is charging by information instead of going before a grand jury.

If he had the guy in a headlock for 15 minutes then he is probably going to prison. If it was just between subway stops then probably not.

I have been in headlocks for 6-7 minutes before. Didn't have a timer so could be shorter or longer. Point is, if Perry didn't have a secure hold on his neck whether it be a bad position or a chin tuck then no damage can be done. The time he had a secure position and knew he had a secure hold is the crucial element here.
If he knew he had a good choke and left it there for 15 minutes which is near impossible human strength then yes he deserves manslaughter. I don't think that is the case.
Dude threatened innocent lives and was a known terror on the subway. He ****ed with the wrong bull that day.

Well that's a bunch of BS. I will say that if he gets a jury full of people used to riding the subway...he may get a fair trial. They know about the nut jobs in the transit system.aggiehawg said:

No one cares what you have to say. We know you will be cheerleading the leftist narrative no matter what.Manhattan said:

Eric Adams has already stated that he didn't have the guy in a headlock for 15 minutes but nobody expects you to be up to date on facts.Manhattan said:

Under New York law there are different terms used to describe criminal offenses related to causing the death of another person. Murder is defined as killing someone with the intent to do so, while manslaughter is defined as causing someone's death without the intent to do so. Manslaughter cases involve recklessness, negligence, or heat of passion. Under New York Penal Law 125.15 you could be prosecuted for manslaughter in the second degree if:
[ol]You recklessly cause the death of another person, [/ol]
Quote:
According to New York Penal Law 15.05(3), acting "recklessly" as used in the manslaughter in the second degree statute is defined as being aware that your actions present a substantial risk that someone could be killed and disregarding that risk.
LINKQuote:
Because manslaughter in the second degree is a class C felony, if you are convicted you could be sentenced to up to 15 years in state prison and be ordered to pay a substantial fine.
I've got to disagree there. He would need a highly select jury to even stand a chance of getting out of this one. We have seen waaaaay too many weird jury decisions in big cities. Dude is going up the river for trying to be a responsible human.BluHorseShu said:Well that's a bunch of BS. You do not have enough information to make any type of accurate assessment of innocence or guilt.
