He'll still be on some medium. Which you will promptly try to silence I'm sure. You loathe free speech.

On the heels of the dominion lawsuit, with the other lawsuit pending, the timing here is certainly suspicious. There's also the obvious point that it makes very little business sense to fire your top earner.

A few hypothesis:

1) Lawsuit timing is red herring. Tucker wanted more money because he's the main draw at that time slot and Fox said no.
2) Lawsuit relevant because Fox demanded editorial changes that Tucker's contract forbids, Tucker said no, C Suite egos got involved and they killed the golden goose.
3) Lawsuit is relevant because losses from litigation and pending litigation exceed Tuckers revenue, and it's a business decision to cut and unprofitable business line.

I still think there's validity to his time being increasingly difficult to sell to advertisers regardless of ratings.
Yeah but those same crappy ads appear throughout the day on FNC, irrespective of which show is on.

Yep, and those shows probably don't cost what Tucker's does.

Well ***** That's the only thing I watched on foxnews. With the exception of some Aggie fb, I didn't watch any other live stuff. Time to cancel YouTubetv.
What you say, Paper Champion? I'm gonna beat you like a dog, a dog, you hear me!

Hannity had 50x the Dominion messaging. Not sure why they would wack Tucker, if that's the narrative.

That's a shame. Hope he lands on his feet somewhere else.

I can't imagine him not. He has a very loyal base in his corner and I'm sure one of the other sites will be more than glad to pay him money to give them more cred with their own viewers.

the boycotts against FNC, specifically Tucker/Hannity are still going strong that's for sure. They don't match up at all with eyeballs on screens.

Also, there was a ton of hand wringing and similar calls of FNC going so left and catering to the libz blah blah blah when they ousted O'Reilly. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Tucker came in and took the primetime slots to different heights.

Given their ability to crush their main competition night in and night out, if it was over money/production decisions, etc...probably an easier move for Fox to try and find someone else to come in and produce 80% of the ratings he got and try to sell that ad time to more people than Mike Lindell. That said...hurry up and buy your egyptian cotton sheets soon because he has limited supply!

The day is young.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

I think this was about money. As many have noted, eyeballs watching does not entirely correlate to ad dollars. Then add Dominion on top of that.

JB definitely has the inside scoop on things, but I can't see Tucker's path to the Whitehouse in 2024...the race is already too crowded.

Would he really want to do battle with Trump? With Desantis? Or would he just fake running to the right of Trump, siphon off votes from Desantis, then throw his support behind Trump? I just don't see it.

He doesn't even get to say goodbye to his audience. His last show was indeed his last show on Fox.

There will be stipulations to his departure. Don't expect him to pop up on a network anytime soon.
That's the thing about broadcasting....you rarely get a "last show".

And of course Fox blocked people from comments on the website for the article about Tucker.

This is sorta crazy. He was the one banking money for the network. I mean, I didn't watch and I didn't agree with the majority of the crap he spewed. And let's be clear, he wasn't news. It was an opinion show.

He was their cash cow. Not sure anyone can step into his place to bring the eyeballs to Fox News at night.

I wonder if this was part of the Dominion settlement?

Just curious. From whom do you get your news and opinions?

I'd like Fox to get back to more news in primetime. Less repeating the same stuff and bringing on people to agree with you. Hannity and Laura are unwatchable. Waters dude is a try hard Tucker wannabe. Need more shows like what Greta and Megyn Kelly did.

If CNN actually wants to be relevant again, they get Tucker, O'Reilly and Megan Kelly and turn them lose with no restrictions.

Hannity is Mr Republican, tow the party line. He repeats the talking points. Tucker went after the uniparty - McConnell, Cornyn, Graham, etc...... The Deep State must have threatened Fox News some how and the timing after the Dominion settlement is curious at the least. When you start taking incoming flak, you are usually over the target.
I know nothing!

It's the smart move.

Thus, they won't do it.

100%. There were days I'd listen to Michael Berry on the way home, then watch Fox primetime, then get on Texags politics. It was terrible.

I think you're FOS to say you know for sure that has nothing to do with it

This is likely due to a number of issues, but no one on the outside can pretend to know that perhaps the biggest challenge that network has ever faced has nothing to do with it
