absolutely terrifying that saying ‘insulting others is wrong’ is reason enough for people to get so evil so quick

Calling out sin is now hate speech? If you're gonna throw the bible in people's face, at least make sense and quit using straw men.NASAg03 said:
What's wrong with what he said? Lines up with scripture, so I don't know why you're offended as his statement.
If you think insulting people makes you based, non-PC or all about free speech, then have at it. But it also probably makes you seem like a jerk.
You are right. Maybe I should drop them all.Irish 2.0 said:
Sure hope you're not a Yellowstone or 1923 OP...Because Oh Boy!! What you should know about the people on that show!
Costner is a fan, friend, and supporter of Liz Cheney. Ryan Bingham - HUGE LIBERAL!! Taylor Sheridan, the show creator, was very very very vocal about impeaching Trump in 2017!
How about Willie Nelson? Want to go there too?

They live in a pampered bubble mostly surrounded by other wealthy and socially liberal people. Their brand becomes more important than their personal views...so they change/shape their views to fit the echo chamber they're part of. Some go all-in, others do it sparingly but begrudgingly go along.
It really makes me appreciate guys like Chris Stapleton and Chris Pratt. They go out of their way to stay out of political preaching (which tells me they don't lean left) and focus instead on entertaining their audience. They don't see themselves as activists trying to inform the public.

I mean no disrespect towards anyone specifically, I don’t even mind @Travistritt.

I just think insulting transgender people is completely wrong because we live in a country where we can all just be who we want to be
It’s a great day to be alive I thought

Ah, disappointing. Though he's still considerably less vocal than most of the superstars, James Taylor is another good example and one of the few on the left who supports causes on his own but doesn't constantly preach to his audience that just wants to appreciate the music. I don't dig into every little thing they say...again I think most of them are going along to get along.Rip*91 said:Gigem314 said:This.Quote:

You may want to do a little research on Chris Stapleton….Dude is a big BLM supporter. He says the world he was living in prior to St. George Floyd's death was a myth. He's woke as ****!
And I doubt he plays the 'We shouldn't insult others' card when celebrities on the left say insulting things about right-leaning Americans.ThreatLevel: Midnight said:

What is an Americana musician? Is that one of these guys who claims to be country but puts out garbage that isn't remotely country?Irish 2.0 said:
Americana musician says something a week ago you don't like. I am shocked
Now go through the rest of your music library and movie collection and start looking up the rest of the musicians and actors.

The guy is still one of the greatest songwriters and musicians out there right now
