It just seems odd to me that we have so many threads on this topic. Is it really worth discussing to this level of ad nauseam given how few people identify as such in our total population. I think probably less than one percent of the population identify as transgender?

My whole life I have known only two people that were transgender and both were decent people. Both were primary healthcare providers and good at their jobs. I really didn't see anything for me to be apprehensive or fearful about them personally or related to being transgender.

The questions I ask is how does this topic personally affect you in a negative way and if doesn't affect you personally, why do you feel so strongly about it?

To the OP:

It isn't about transgenderism, but rather the utter denial and rejection of objective, undeniable reality. We cannot exist as a society this way.

Also, transgender people are not what people (including themselves) think they are. They are severely mentally diseased people who need care to match the severity. Our society must stop encouraging this. It is a huge problem. It is NOT a good thing. It drives depression, anxiety, dysmorphia, suicide, among other things. They are also severely abused by the political class that claims to support them but only uses them as cheap, throwaway pawns.

There is a rampant social contagion happening. It itself is a symptom of larger issues in our culture. I'm not a hugely religious person, but the loss of soul in our society is glaringly obvious, and people are massively suffering from the current iteration of American progressivism.

That is really a diagnosis of the symptom, not the illness. Refer back to my original post.

The population level statistics are the driving force behind the firearms crime epidemic.

If it were the case firearms weren't as easy to acquire (not only in ease of passing the application but in numerical availability as well), this would be an academic discussion.

Have you taken a break from spewing your drivel here long enough to realize that this thing was likely raging from some sort of biochemistry issue as a result of taking testosterone to change her body into something that it isn't? Of course you haven't. People like you focus on the buying of a firearm. You never want to focus on what drives these types of events. If this individuals didn't have these issues, this wouldn't even be a discussion at all. The same goes for the overwhelming majority of other mass shooting events in recent history. But, let's go ahead and make guns harder for law abiding normal people to obtain, while the criminal element and those wanting to do harm will still obtain them by any means necessary. That will almost certainly curb gun violence in this country. At least be intellectually honest when you engage here.
The same to you. We have always had insane people. Its in our genes. We are imperfectly evolved mammals. If a weapon gets in the hands of a crazy person they are going to use it. If that person didnt have access to the gun, like this person did who bought the gun through legal means, we wouldnt have these dead children.

Instead of focusing on your hate for the left, why don't you focus on reason? No one wants take away your guns. People do want to ensure crazy people cant get guns. That is the problem.

"No one wants to take away your guns"…..How obtuse are you? It is "unacceptable" to your administration that there are people in this country, law abiding or not, that they own or are in possession of certain types of firearms. Go take your leftist win an argument with flowery language bs elsewhere. You have no clue about the economy as evidenced by your posting history on the matter, and you have no clue on this.
Ad hominem attacks with zero substance. You don't get to tell me what I mean just because you are committed to misunderstanding any argument that wants to stop school shootings.

Context is everything. The individual who attacked this school this past week should not be able to acquire a firearm legally. He/she did. It is breathtakingly amazing to me that individuals like yourself are willing to die on a precarious perch of NRA propaganda, hidden behind a bastion of stubborness and sociopathic behavior, due to an illegitimate fear of being disarmed; and the price of your inertia are the lives of our most innocent. If you are a law abiding and well trained citizen, as per the constitution, you should consider joining the militia.

The mentally sick aren't allowed to buy guns now. The FBI background checkers and judicial system should do a better job with the laws they have before asking me to give another inch. Turn your guns in if you're convinced it's gonna make a difference.

Because sodomy, transgenderism, and all other sexual perversions (including rampant adultery, divorce, and fornication) lead to the destruction of the family, and then the nation.

Rome fell when it became corrupt to the core.
Samaria was carried of into Assyrian captivity when it became utterly wicked.
Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians when rampant degeneracy was even taking place in the temple.

Empires fall when there is not morals holing society up. According to the bible, transgenderism is evil, and is a sign that our country has very little moral conviction anymore.

There is an easy way around this.

  • Require all firearms owners to have mental fitness and training tests every 3-5 years.
  • All weapons need to be in the registry
  • Offer direct tax credits in a voluntary buyback program

  • New firearms sales require proof of recent mental fitness exam, training and background check and must be equipped with the following Fingerprint Gun

Zero substance? That's rich. You literally said "No one wants to take anyone's guns" after the mouthpiece for your administration absolutely said otherwise.
Everyone knows (except you) that government regulation on who can purchase a semi-automatic will allow the mentally sick that aligned with democrats to legally purchase rifles but military vets with a 20% disability rating for insomnia will be prevented.

This will start a civil war.
Then let it come. At least people will be shooting at people with guns on the other side rather than kids.
lol I already didn't take you seriously. Now I just laugh at you. You are completely discredited after that statement. Not to be taken seriously on anything
The post with my recommendations is not unreasonable at all. The fact you don't see that is the problem. No one wants to take your guns. They just want to stop school shootings. Inaction is an action. And it is not the answer.

We need equal tax benefits.
We need a month proclaiming our normalcy

There's absolutely no slippery slope. None.

Yes it is unreasonable.

I see the problem clearly.

Yes they do.

So do I, and I can do it in one step. Put armed security in every school. Done. It is the only solution. The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. There are more guns than people in this country. That is an unsolvable "problem".

The real problems is we accept delusion, evil, and mental illness and accept it as normal. Transgenderism cannot be accepted by society. It is a symptom of the greater problem.

Do you really think a $15/hour armed security guard is going to do anything? You are dreaming in technicolor my man.

I never said I support anything. Switching the subject because I pointed out the idiocy and flaws in an argument doesn't do anyone, especially the slaughtered children, any favors.

She lied on the application about her mental illness or the purchase would've been denied.

~$7B year to put an SRO in every school.
I would guess 20% already have one.

So $5.5B more.

Neehau,
Your team has spent $125B on money laundering and Nazis in Ukraine.

They could have funded protecting schools for 25 years.

ETA:
You supported $400B in loan forgiveness.
That could support 3 SROs per school for 25 years.

I bet closer to half of ISDs have some protections, bringing the cost even lower, especially since our liberal friend has already noted she'd prefer burger flipper wages for the protection of children.

I bet she's not receptive to giving up foreign aid money to accomplish that feat.

Simply put? Like many things with liberals, it's a way to feel morally superior to those of us who don't go out of our way to change the way we think, talk, and believe for the 0.7% of mentally ill people out there.

Reading through what everyone posted and what you stated are generalities that you can't measure. It is extremely hard to pin point the ill a transgender person causes in a community other than citing religious convictions. It is not on the same level as the corrosive effects of drugs or poverty.

I agree people use this group to score political points and gaslight each other. These are people and just like any person they are multifaceted. They are not demons or saints, to be feared or admired, they are just people.

Again, it's not just about transgenderism. It's about harmful delusions and a rejection of objective, undeniable reality.

It is also about transgenderism because what goes with transgenderism is horrific mutilation, castration, and affirmation of terrible delusions.
