Fire alarms are on, so clearly there was warning once shooter entered. Assuming classes went on lockdown.

What's the point of glass doors and fire alarms if you can't back it with self defense weapons?
Sickening.
Yeah that's what I thought too.Rapier108 said:

My bad, I've followed this intermittently. I heard it was a dude trying to be a chick, which made sense to me because these type of evil violent ****s tend to be male. If it was a chick pretending to be a dude, I stand corrected.

You should se how many modern schools have used bond money to create fishbowl rooms of "innovation" with full walls of windows. In some schools, there are few places to actually hide should a school shooting happen.
Yep. Part of me wishes they wouldn't share the "manifesto" this POS left behind, either. He doesn't deserve the additional attention, and not sharing it would rob him of explaining whatever final point he was wanting to make.GAC06 said:
The next shooter is watching that video and formulating their twisted plan. I am conflicted between wanting free speech and knowing that publicizing these monsters inspires the next copycats.

Maybe I am wrong here, but I do not think we should be designing our schools to be fortresses to protect against school shooters. Makes much more sense to hire retired/returning military to protect them. JMO

You need multiple guards inside and outside of the building. She shot through the doors to get inside.
Each school needs to shut down all driving entrances but one and have a guard shack to identify who's driving up.
At the hs I'm an asst principal at, we just started doing this. Guy at the gate is a retired trooper, it's a pain at times but it's cut down on some problems.

Apparently $16,000/yr , per student, isn't enough to get security detail.TxAgPreacher said:
