Mornin' folks. The three week trial is finally ending after six weeks. Over four hours of state's closing yesterday with a few missteps besides boring the jury to death with the minute details of financial crimes. State actualy argued that Murdaugh (or someone else) as a single shooter with two weapons was "just as likely" as there being multiple shooters.
That is called reasonable doubt that even the prosecution cannot dismiss. But after all of the rabbit holes that the state has gone down about hog hunting tactics, crappy financial controls of the law firm and AM's preferred Palmetto State Bank, badges, blue lights in a former vehicle AM drove, the raise to wake feature on Iphones being randomly tossed around an office on a Sunday afternoon and other extraneous horse puckey, the defense will take about 2 or so hours to make the case for defense, heavy emphasis on reasonable doubt as the state has not been able to place the guns in Alex's hands that night.
I think it will be AM's close friend, Griffin making the argument. Then state has the right to rebuttal and we will see if Waters drones on some more and for how long before the judge gives instructions and the jury gets the case.
