COVID-19 pandemic likely came from Chinese lab leak, US department now says in classified documents

The COVID-19 pandemic likely originated from a Chinese lab leak, the U.S. Department of Energy has reportedly concluded.

The WSJ stated, "The Energy Department's conclusion is the result of new intelligence and is significant because the agency has considerable scientific expertise and oversees a network of U.S. national laboratories, some of which conduct advanced biological research."

What I missed in all of this is that the FBI apparently concluded this way back in 2021. Was that reported back then?

I'm guessing it was leaked by accident.

For one reason only: I cannot see any advantage in setting it loose on purpose where they did.

I'd have set it loose somewhere that would not make it look like it was any sort of attack. No military sites, no big cities, etc.

I'd have taken it to some real out of the way thing like an Indian reservation in the U.S. and loosed it there.

America's own built-in system of MSM and politics-driven self-recriminations would have tied everyone up in knots for months. Bonus: It would have been called something like the Trail Of Tears virus, or something, because these twits are incapable of subtlety of any sort.

Doubtful. They probably knew about this in 2019 before it all started

The real attack wasn't the covid virus itself but the reaction to the virus.

Virus with 99.3% survivability rate results in destroying the global economy, destroying social order, and voluntarily poisioning 2/3rds of the planet with 3 different versions of an untested and experimental vaccine. The response to covid was predictable.

If it was intentionally released, then covid was the most successful weapon of all time.

If it was not intentionally released then covid (as a biological weapon) was the most successful weapon of all time.

Back in early 2020 it was taboo to mention the likelihood that covid was a bioweapon. People didn't want to hear it at the time.

Can't let a lab leak thread go by without pointing out many of us knew this Day 1. There are 10s of thousands of wet markets across China and only ONE virus lab right at the epicenter. Common sense isn't common, neither is elementary math.

This is why we were inundated with videos from China of people just randomly dropping dead, going into convulsions, spitting up blood, bodies piled up, etc. etc. etc. all blamed on the WuFlu.

Turned out all of the videos were either faked/staged, or were old videos of things completely unrelated to the virus such as a man with terminal cancer, someone passing out, or scenes from a movie/tv show/video.

It was Chinese psyops designed to get the rest of the world to commit economic and social suicide and it worked very well.

Hell, half of the people who live in first world nations are still completely broken by it.

• If only we knew who had a hand in financing the lab?
• If only we knew if the NIH was involved?
• If only we knew if there was a reason to move these GOF labs from domestic labs as were previously stalled per presidential directive to overseas lab with little to no oversight?
• If only there were warnings back in 2018 and again in 2019 on lax lab safety protocols?
• If only there were a completely objective and unbiased researcher sent over shortly after the "outbreak" with deep ties to the head of the NIH that uncover the lab-leak "theory" that immediately shot this theory down and attacked the careers of scientists that dared speak out about this?
• And finally, if only we knew if the primary response figurehead also had direct ties to the lab in question?
