What reaction did he undergo after shooting himself? Could he have involuntarily tossed the gun?
How did the gun land and could it have spun after landing?
Don't know the answers to those questions, but the original leap to the conclusion of murder was just a bit premature.

Whoa there, my contributions here were a Norm clip and reading an article and wondering why a shotgun would land 30 feet away from the body. Jabin and I are cool, I understand where he's coming from, I'd just like to consider some Mythbusters on how far a shotgun goes if you are the shooter and shootee.
