It's in a public road and therefore unlawful reckless driving. The odds of a serious accident are high. And then attacking a police officer (even in a vehicle) is a bunch of felonies.

Nobody will be charged because local Democrat policy makers are racist and have a policy of lower expectations and standards for minority groups, patronizing them like they are children.

I think in a more pragmatic sense, the police have to pick their battles knowing the city administration and local DA will bury the dagger deep in their backs if they actually try to uphold the law and there is any kind of incident resulting that could be politically exploited.

What is telling to me is that only one unit responded to this and then nobody came to his/her support.

Since the officer did not ram through the crowd and backed away this is only going to embolden the thugs and innocents are going to get hurt.

It culture copycat. These guys saw other hoodrats doing it in videos and copied it. Been happening in Houston for years now as well. Really took off during Covid. Called "Street takeover."

I saw those three cars cruising down mopac last night. Must have been right after this. They were all three in a row and very much doing the speed limit. Now I know why. They all exited together around William cannon.
