WASHINGTON, D.C. (WHP) Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman has been hospitalized in Washington, D.C. according to a statement from his team.

In the statement, the Senator's communication director said he felt lightheaded after a Senate Democratic retreat on Wednesday. They said he called his staff and he was taken to George Washington University Hospital.

The statement said that according to initial tests there was no evidence of a new stroke, and that he is in good spirits and talking to his family.

I don't wish harm on anyone and I hope he gets better. Having said that I put at least some of the blame on the voters of Pennsylvania. They knowingly put someone who had already had a stroke into one of the most stressful positions in government.

No one has ever suggested THE candidate that would have been GUARANTEED to have a) won the primary and b) actually beaten Fetterman in the general had Trump, AS YOU ALLEGE, not been involved in any way. At the end of the day, you have to hold the actual voters of PA responsible because they're going to be the ones who vote again.

Voters are increasingly voting for an ideology, not a specific person. Fetterman's health was important only until he was sworn in as Senator.

I would wish him a speedy recovery if he weren't in office, but he is in office. This, when I look at pictures of him, and hear him talk, I really do feel sorry for him. I think that, for whatever reason, super-unattractive people like him tend to gravitate towards the left...in large part because they see it as the party of ugly freaks and outcasts and psychos that will accept anyone into their cult, as long as you embrace and push deviancy.

There is no excuse for being a modern progressive...but when you are a walking monstrosity that scares everyone you come in contact with, I can kind of see how the seeds might be planted earlier in life to drift to the absolute freakshow that is the modern left. This is why solid parents, and a relationship with God are so important.
