Thank you Donald Trump for Comatose Fetterwoman, Slumlord Wife Beater Warnock, Gun Grabber Kelly, Masto, and Hassan.

Please retire so serious people like Desantis, Abbott, Sununu, Kemp, Youngkin, Dewine, and Lee can fix this country.

The jury may still be out on Desantis, but what exactly are those other names going to do to fix this country?

In the case of Sununu, Kemp and Youngkin, actually win elections in purple states.

Okay, but how are they going to fix the country?

You start one race at a time, one office at a time. I'd much rather have Kemp, DeSantis, Youngkin, and Sununu setting policy than their liberal opponents.

Reps have had power just as much as Dems since the turn of the millennium. Our largest problems have not seen any improvement under their watch, the most important being spending (which they clearly don't give a **** about). What have these guys done that indicates they will propose policies that will fix the country? You can say you would rather have them setting policy, but what policies have they supported or say they will support that will stop the decline of the country, rather than just marginally slowing it at best?

R's need to stop getting credit purely for having R's by their name. They are both part of the same establishment, and their actions have done nothing but prove that for literally a few decades now. When it comes to the policies that have really caused us the most sustained damage (endless debt, over-extending ourselves overseas, increased power and scope of the federal gov, etc.), they have been on the exact same page.

You can't talk about candidate quality in an election where John Fetterman gets elected. A day old bologna sandwich would make a better Senator than him.

I have ZERO sympathy

if he wanted to focus on his health he could have dropped out before the primary or the general election.

instead, leftist socialism is so important to him and his wife that he was a figurehead used to save the Senate for the left

just like with one Joseph Robinette Biden being a figurehead propped up by his wife.

The people of Pennsylvania are completely blameless? Wow
Oz wasn't a great candidate, but this whole notion that Oz alone (by way of Trump) is responsible for PA voting democrat is ignorant of the facts. PA voted for a democrat governor, again, and a democrat legislature. Unfortunately it's a strong blue state with a lot of union influence. So I'm not sure which magic Republican candidate could have won a Senate seat with that voting base.

It's not like Georgia where it's a still a right-of-center state and re-elected a Republican governor but the R Senate candidate failed.

You really don't understand how Trump backing the pro abortion, anti gun huckster from NJ over two more conservative candidates in primary was a problem? Really?

As for fetterman, this was always a matter of "when" not "if"

If idiots in PA just blindly go by what Trump says and then chose a mentality impaired entitled idiot who has just lived off his daddy's money his entire life over a real doctor, then they got what they wanted.

Trump didn't vote for Oz or Fetterman. If the "real conservatives" couldn't beat a liberal Turkish doctor from NJ, they likely would not have beaten a mentally impaired brat Democrat either.

Once again, please explain how Trump is to blame for the VOTERS of PA putting a brain dead subject into office.

I've heard all the nonsense before about Oz, and there was still one primary, which Oz won, and one general, which Fetterman appears to have won. Trump didn't have a vote in either. So please come up with something else or drop this drivel completely.

No one has ever suggested THE candidate that would have been GUARANTEED to have a) won the primary and b) actually beaten Fetterman in the general had Trump, AS YOU ALLEGE, not been involved in any way. I'm still not sure how Trump's involvement has been proven, or even if his involvement has, his influence to get Oz very far has.

At the end of the day, you have to hold the actual voters of PA responsible because they're going to be the ones who vote again.

TDS has apparently made you BSC.

This entire post has an incredible level of obtuseness, but especially this - You're "not sure how Trump's involvement has been proven?" Did you miss that he endorsed the out of touch reality tv doctor who lived in New Jersey? PA had no issues electing republicans in the past. McCormick (who only lost the primary by .1%) was clearly the more electable candidate. But trump wanted a celebrity and unfortunately for all of us there are still morons who do what he says.

Your argument boils down to Trump ENDORSED Oz, thus he is to blame for his election and you're calling ME obtuse? (Not to mention the idea that you clearly didn't even read my post -- at least not the ENTIRETY of it. It refuted your last 3 sentences before you even wrote them).

I don't pray for people who willingly and knowingly want my future and the future of the country to be socialist and a dystopian leftist nightmare.
