Really…..how do the trans athletes count towards Title XI? Is a trans woman (dude in a dress) counted as a woman? Could the still be on the mens team as a trans woman?

The idea is to split it into 3 divisions. That would required 3 funding streams. You don't think a liberal court somewhere will interpret it that way?

Title IX was written to give equal opportunity to women in college in HS athletics. The courts decided that mean equal funding. Wrestling above HS has basically disappeared in America because of Title IX. Men's football has 85 scholarships, Men's BB has 12. Where are you going to find 97 trans athlete scholarships and for what sports? Whose facilities to the trans athletes use? Women's or Mens locker room...oh, nope they get there own.$$ Coaches $$, Venue's $$, Officials $$.

I can't believe the number of women in America who are actively trying to destroy women's sports. Because if you want to destroy women's sports, this is how you do it.

Women as kickers on the football team count as a scholarship for the men's football team. Also the reason as Achane counted as Football over track.

Many are already trying to tie her to the stake for the upcoming burn, but she has a LOT of support on this one.

The biologics of the male body (length + leverage ratios, heart/lung capacities, residual muscle mass, etc) even in a trans-athlete on a 1+ yr testosterone level that's deemed appropriate gives a trans-athlete a HUGE advantage in the water over a biological female counterpart. Surfers know this and many will support her on this.

One of my favorite parts of posting up at Pipeline or Sunset on vacation is that on any given day (as long as there's surf), you might see a handful of the most elite professional surfers either hangin' out on the beach or out in the water doing their thing. Might not be that cool to the typical Oahu tourist, but to someone who has been obsessed with the ocean and surfing since childhood, it's pretty dang cool to see one of the Florence brothers or Koa Rothman coming in after a set.

When the waves are 12+ out there, the place is magical. You have to drag me off the beach.

Surfers are different. Kind of like skaters. People seem to view them as libs/hippies, and that might be the case when it comes to the environment and conservation, but imo they tend to lean libertarian and anti-establishment/authority. Seems they are very anti-woke....as are most people who have crazy work ethics and literally risk their lives for their craft.

I follow a lot of right wing IG accounts and will often see that Kelly Slater has liked something that would get a lot of professional athletes or celebs in hot water. They DGAF.

We actually got up and made it over there around 8am (comp started at 8:30am I think) and they had to finish the women's round before hand which lasted like 2 hours which I guess held off the crowds until later because we were one of the first there. Easy parking, and sat front and center in front of the surf comp. Got much more crowded later.

Awesome experience however I was a bit disappointed cause I figured they'd at least have a pop up stand for snacks/drinks….but had absolutely nothing. Thankfully we brought some of our own and managed.
