I'm not an expert in the latest technology to support voting. However, as I voted in the last several elections I wondered why with all the technology we have today we have to use paper ballots. Years ago the ballot "boxes" were electronic and you didn't need the paper to print out and then go scan in another machine.

Go back to punchcards. If you're too stupid/lazy to check to make sure there's no hanging chads then your vote shouldn't have counted in the first place.

You've got to have some kind of paper record to theoretically audit votes by hand. Now, how accurate the end ballot count is versus the truth is up for debate thanks to Dems.
