I'm sure the liberal media and the race pimps are very upset that his death was from the hands of 5 black Memphis police officers.

Their motivation to rile up the sheep will be a little tougher because this was black on black crime. But they do have the Police narrative to work with so that probably will be enough to accomplish rioting, burning down Memphis and possibly other cities.

I wonder if the NBA the NFL etc will have Tyree Nichols name on their jerseys, helmets etc like they did for George Floyd?

If I'm the Nichols family I would be asking why not us? My son, brother, cousin was killed by police like George and they got the royal treatment and made millions.

Someone might have to tell them "we're not in an election season and the current President is a democrat and so the outcry won't be as highly emotional, had this happened in early 2024 then you might have your wish"

This guy actually died due to the actions of the police.

Fentanyl Floyd died from a drug overdose.

These thoughts are not original. There are replies reflecting LDP's sentiment all over them.

Election season is exactly why this isn't a big deal (well, and that there were no white officers involved).

The PD there is only around 52% black, but this 'scorpion unit' team just happened to be 100 percent:

They've also all 5 been charged with murder, which is interesting as well. What I find most fascinating is now an attempt to legislate a law that puts an affirmative duty of action on officers to intervene if other officers are breaking the law:

Quote:

The Nichols' family and their lawyers are also calling for police to establish a special law, named after Tyre, that would require police to intervene when they see another officer committing a crime.

"We have to make it official," Crump said at a news conference in Memphis Friday afternoon. "We have to make it documented. We have to put it on the books."
Now, for you non-lawyer types, we don't have many affirmative duties of action in our books and never have. You can see someone you could easily save in a river for instance struggling and generally face no penalty if you elect not to help them (picture seeing Nancy Pelosi drowning in a deep puddle of vodka). If this sort of thing becomes more widespread, it will be almost impossible to staff/fund police departments in major cities, imho.

I think we can find common ground between left and right on this.

The weaponization of Federal police and the enforcement of COVID restrictions by Blue State/County/City police in opposition to the Constitution really caused me to rethink my reflexive 'Back the Blue' attitude.

I 'back the blue' when the individual police officer is following the Constitution of the US first followed then by his/her State's Constitution. Behavior that does not conform to this standard from police will NOT be supported from me.

There is a lot of argument about when is the right time to release this video......

....I have concerns that releasing it on a Friday night may incite riots late tonight, Saturday, and Sunday.

Governor of Tennessee I hope is putting the National Guard on stand by.

Yep. His GFM is up to $8k now.
I wonder of that REIT that poses as a nonprofit called BLM will help them?

You know....no white outcry when this (censored) shot a white chick in the face as he lined up a dozen people to commit to mass murder before he decent into hell.

I don't think the rioting and looting can REALLY considered successful unless we have some innocent citizens get murdered and raped.

As always, the more death, injuries, assaults, and rapes, the better the rioting will be considered by the Maxine's of the world.

Honestly, the Maxine's of the world would overlook the death and assaults to push her political race position. Nothing has changed for her and her party, in 30 years from the LA riots and Rodney King.

The REIT comment is outstanding. I'll be using that one this weekend regarding BLM.

Soros DAs and Soros Judges who are soft on crime and support cashless bail are the problem. Not .000000000001% of officers who are poorly trained.

Look at how much of a crime ridden ****hole Houston and Harris County have become of Soros policies.

So a bunch of black cops just beat a black dude to death for no reason and after he was subdued? Surely something had to escalate the situation after he was apprehended.

They won't because it isn't about the cops, it is about the whites. Darks Hues dying at the hands of cops is about whites (white cops), not cops. Afro Kap and ESPN alike will not be causing a stink about this case with 5 dark hue cops, because they only be carin about trying to dismantle white hues.

In a few minutes we will find out. I am about to martini up.

I think what the police did it was unnecessary, horrible and they should be held accountable for it but seriously, when are people going to quit not complying with police orders? It never turns out well.

Im a random toxicologist in South Africa who googled tyre nichols. I really don't have an opinion either way. Libs in the US wouldn't last a second talking to our police the way they do in the US, I know that for sure.

But what I really f hate is ppl pushing drug misinformation. Beyond the fact that that you can see with your own eyes, even a layman without medical training, can see that he isn't experiencing opioid overdose toxidrome. I mean FFS he is awake in the video you can see how dilated his pupils are (opioids constrict pupils). His levels of fentanyl and norfentanyl were not even particularly high. There was some goofy meme going around with a chart, claiming to show these levels were in "overdose range", the data they used to make that contention were based off of opioid naive (non users) hospital patients who received fentanyl in a hospital, they also used like a few dozen cases all from like 50 years ago. Obviously anyone with even a moderate opioid tolerance would require more than a totally naive person. The exact same thing can be said for his levels of methamphetamine, people try and change tack and start talking about that once pointed out (what I thought was readily obvious) that he clearly was not experiencing opioid toxidrome- the levels of meth in his system were comparable to those often found in meth related DUIs- quite low really.

Idgaf about George Floyd, it seems he got what was coming to him, but it's like some of you Americans are scared to admit the truth here.

What's the truth? He didn't die of asphyxiation. How about the fentanyl levels in someone with tolerance but also suffering from severe atherosclerosis and heart failure?

Welcome back MFBarnes.

Hardest working South African in toxicology. Thank God we can rely on his expertise to explain away the multiple drugs in this guy's system were "quite low really"

There are plenty of other examples of outrage but the media, left, deep state, whatever chooses what gets covered and the outrage to divide us. It works. Just look at this board, everybody is talking about it. The conditioning of society is complete as our talking points are always presented to us.

IMO, those cops were angry that they all were exposed to OC and had to chase the guy. Nothing that occurred prior to the videos is relevant though.
Once a suspect is cuffed, that person is the responsibility of the arresting officers. The conflict is over. They have to switch into a caretaker role, and ensure that the arrestee gets any medical treatment needed and transport them safely to whatever facility is appropriate. You don't have to be happy with the suspect's conduct prior to them being brought into custody, but you don't get to take that anger or frustration out on him/her/they.
I believe that the firing and criminal charges are appropriate.
