This does not pass the smell test and it is time to follow the money. Gaetz and Raskin sponsoring a bill to ban something that does not need to be banned means that someone else wants Kangaroo products banned and has "contributed" to see it gets done.

I asked for a Nokona AMG175K for Christmas in 1998 or 1999. Santa brought a 175X (Buckskin) because dad said I was too rough on equipment for Kangaroo. Played catch 2-3x week with it this fall. They make a dang good glove.

Nacona Full Kangaroo boots here. Kangaroo leather is great. Good boot upper leather.

Dude, it goes waaaaaay beyond that. They will drive vehicles in to the brush where there are a bunch of kangaroos, pushing them out straight towards a bunch of armed folks who will just mow them over. They are a problem there. This is ridiculous.

I've been. And kangaroos are freakin' everywhere. It's like all the d*mn white-tail allowed to roam free and with no fear of being shot in neighborhoods around here.

But, hunting a kangaroo should be viewed the same as hunting game here. Rules should apply and populations monitored.

Went to Australia decades ago after college. Kangaroos are like rats over there. They are everywhere. Like hill country deer but worse. They cause traffic accidents. Injure drivers. They are a PITA.

And they do taste great

Yep, and the only advantage to Kangaroo leather is that it is game ready day 1. There is a reason you only see pitchers wearing nokonas in the bigs, they won't hold up.

What's the reason for this? if this is a nuisance animal in Australia, there shouldn't be an issue. unless maybe the goal is to stick it to Australiea.

I've had kangaroo leather motorcycle jacket before and it is far superior to cow leather. Softer, stronger more flexible and more abrasive resistant.
