We had kid at my elementary school that went through puberty really early. Straight up had a five o'clock shadow every day in the 5th grade.

... The facial hair alone isn't that indicting. I mean, it happens. He could be 12 years,
(well, we know the answer to that)

It's not just the facial hair he HAS, but also what's missing at the top of his face. At the receding hair line. Just doesn't look 12.

My son is 13. I'm not saying he's a D1 caliber, but he is a fantastic athlete and for the most part is better than anybody his age in football and running events. He had city record for just about everything but passing TDs in the 5v5 league.

A few years back he played in national flag football tournament for 10U and there were kids from DFW that looked like this playing against him and absolutely clowned him and his team.

Mustaches, 5'10+, muscles, and 6 packs everywhere. It looked like he was competing against HS seniors. Everybody had to submit birth certificates to compete, so outside of some shenanigans, it happens.

This is not to be that braggadocious (my kid will not play college ball unless it's D3 or NAIA,) just to say there are those kids out there. They took my kid who is absolutely an outlier and make him look below average.

Not saying it's impossible, but it is really sus when it's a one off like this.

Kid probably won't even play on varsity his senior year of HS.

There are always kids who develop early, dominate youth sports, even freshman year, and then come back sophomore year and realize everyone else has caught up or surpassed them. Being relegated to also-ran/normal status is often more than some of these kids can take now that they're no longer the star player, and many quit playing football before they finish high school.

I hit 6 ft tall at 13.

I'm 38 now and still can't grow a stache like that kid.

These are typically the Mexican kids. Hit puberty earlier and are bigger than the other kids at 12-13. But they peak at 5'8". By 10th grade everyone else has caught up to them.

All of y'all are clearly ignoring the fact that this man is operating with a time & multiverse machine, and has only existed in our time & universe for what we perceive as 12 years. In all actuality, Jeremiah Johnson is 481 years young and is formally known throughout the cosmos as The One Who Remains. He has already defeated all other 12 years old in the various dimensions that he has conquered, and now our Earth is all that remains. Inquiring minds should know that he already knows each blade of grass on which he plays and has calculated the best odds of forward mobility within each step that he has already predetermined to take. We are merely peasants in the grand scheme of things and should continue to marvel at his studious yet respectable growth with which we perceive as the prepubescent mustachio.

I was watching the Shaq documentary on HBO and he tells a story about being 10 years old and the other team refused to play because they thought he was lying about his age.

He said a dad said "no way that mfer is 10 years old. if that mfer is 10 years old he's going to be the greatest NBA players to ever play the game". He was 6 ft tall at 10 years old but I don't know if he had a beard or tats.
