I am cautiously optimistic.
It would be a pretty good move (one those in power have used many times) to change leadership and appear to be cleaning up the place so that the propaganda no longer seems like propaganda.

Checks all the boxes:

• AGW-faith supporter/believer (EV's)
• Backs business moving to China (EV's)
• Generally seeks Gov't hand outs (EV's/SpaceX)
• Backs AI advancement
• Voting record: 2x Obama, Biden, HRC
• (Was) entrenched in Silicon Valley hierarchy
• Perfect lgbtq equality score
• Fan of mass transit over individual transportation/freedom
• Pays corporate benefits for abortion travel (Tesla)

I mean, maybe/yes he is getting more conservative (or at least libertarian) as he gets older, which is a natural order of things for smart people imho.

But if anything, he is this year a case study in 'any heretic must be forcefully denounced and then destroyed' policy of the left. I don't think anyone, regardless of IQ, or net worth, or status is intelligent politically if they voted for Obama and Biden. Doesn't matter if they are named Elon, Oprah or Clay Travis. I'll take someone saying/doing the right things, regardless though.

Absolutely agree with him that civilization is the priority. And if Washington left is going to make itself anti-civilization, then its long term is far less important a thing to happen.

The issues with Twitter should be of concern and importance to all Americans. The fact that it isn't is actually our biggest problem and Musk has nothing to do with that. If all Americans can't agree on a level playing field, we are doomed.

Yes, but its time to put that aside for a while and find out. We have just learned that apparent consensus with the Left's deranged agenda is highly likely to be false. Give this some time to see what the reaction is now that more than one side is being heard in the venues that most walk in, rather than niches (like this board or right wing radio).
