It's what, 6 weeks after the murders? That's actually pretty damn fast as far as these things go.

Plus, the definition of a cold case is not "did they solve it", it's "are they still getting leads to track down". The police has been vocal for the last few weeks saying that tips were still rolling in at a very high rate.

Will be interesting to see who did it.

Seems like there was an arrest of a dude in PA with initials BK who was denied bail and is awaiting extradition. If true that seems to match. Easily able to find online.

Arrest paperwork filed by Pennsylvania State Police in Monroe County Court said Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28, was being held for extradition in a criminal homicide investigation based on an active arrest warrant for first degree murder issued by the Moscow Police Department and Latah County Prosecutor's Office.
