***PURE SPECULATION***

Madison was the one with a boyfriend - but to an obsessed stalker that hardly matters. In fact BK MAY have been aware that Madisons boyfriend was not in town that weekend (I don't know that but kids post all kinds of stuff these days). Kaylee had broken up weeks ago so the opportunity to approach her was there already. Plus she was not even supposed to be there. He may have even known what Kaylee drove previously. But she had a new car so he may have thought only Madison would be on the top floor.


I could see a scenario where that was the trigger to visit Madison, to try to convince her to give him a chance or attention, and the knife was just for (poorly conceived) intimidation or to keep her quiet.

But then Kaylee is there unexpectedly and he just freaks out - and is particularly angry at Kaylee for being there ruining his plan (also not very logical). I know it has been discounted but the Goncalves family was implying her wounds were worse which some speculated made her the target. Perhaps she was simply the recipient of his anger and not the original target.

Lot's of speculation admittedly. Just trying to figure out the why, but the why will never be justified. Or make sense to us I imagine.

Speculation isn't welcomed here. Only serious law posts or gtfo.

Just tragic. Hope they put a clear case together, get an easy guilty verdict, and then put down this rabid dog. Unfortunately it can't possibly happen as quickly as it should

I think it happened because the plan went off the rails as soon as Kaylee was there.

imho you can't assume a logical reason or scenario in his head. Obsession makes you believe something crazy makes sense.

Has it been confirmed that the white car on the Exxon security camera was the same car? Can't remember if that was addressed in the addidavit.

Yeah I agree with this. I'd be more inclined to think he'd sneak up to Madisons room, startle her, threaten her and maybe rape her or ask weird questions or who knows. Kaylee being in the room threw a wrench. Then **** just started going wrong.

The Goncalves family could be unaware of any connection to one of the other girls. I'm sure they are certain about Kaylee, but the police might not even tell them if they found a connection to another girl. So when they say no connection Kaylee that could be correct and all that they know.

As for the lawyer - again he may not know everything - but "no connection" to the 4 is a true statement as well even if he DM'ed one of them. If they did not answer they had no connection to him. In a manner of speaking.

As usual, i think this is spot on. This might be a little crass, but Madison was definitely the most attractive one that would be the presumed target based on logic. They were definitely all pretty girls, but Kaylee was a little overweight and Xana doesn't seem to be the likely target and seemingly was just getting food at the wrong time.

In fact, it actually makes sense that he heard Xana get up and start moving around downstairs which might have spooked him to think that somebody was aware he was there. That might also explain him forgetting the sheath and he turned his focus to the unpllanned act of going after Xana.

Certainly would help explain the apparent "clean" crime scene. Not a Tyvek suit, but probably the next best thing for someone not wanting to leave fibers/hairs behind.

Sure. I am just speculating that a person would choose to wear coveralls to keep from contaminating the crime scene and also to keep his own clothes clean for a quick "change" of clothes.

Could also be completely unrelated to the crime.
