Colorado legalizing psychedelics, multiple states allowing babies to be killed up until the moment of birth, and allowing babies who have survived a botched abortion to be tossed in the medical refuse bin.

I don't believe there was cheating in this election. I believe the libs made it easier for people to vote who otherwise wouldn't have bothered and these people are low information liberals. The problem is America doesn't want what conservatives want. We are a country that wants to use drugs, that wants to kill
babies, and whose sole motivation revolves around watching porn and having immigrants deliver fast food to their door. The problem isn't the message, it's the electorate.

This election isn't about candidates. The right will always lose if it has to run Galahad the Pure while the left can trot out Fetterman and get an easy W. The Virgin Mary may have beat Fetterman by a point or two in Pennsylvania. Think about what that says about Democracy, and about voting.

The only silver lining is that nothing would have changed even if the Reps had an iron clad lock on Congress. Nothing ever changes, things just keep going left at a slightly faster or slower speed depending on who is "in charge".

Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.

Maybe its not the electorate, or our leaders, but the actual game being played that needs to change. The game is corrupting all of its participants and ever faster than before.

You folks need to decide what party you are. For example, if you're the party of individual freedoms why so uptight about drugs?

I understand perfectly the pro life argument from your side, but there are so many examples of where your party says they are one thing and does another.

It's a great point, honestly.

For me, if there wasn't such a cradle to grave benefit system built into our society, things like this would have much less impact on me personally (or at least my perception of how it impacts me personally).

As things stand, in the face of unprecedented low labor force participation, constant fiscal stimulus, entitlement spending programs outpacing necessary government expenditures, record high crime, dismal education metrics etc., legalizing a bunch of extra drugs just doesn't move the "hey, this is a great idea" needle for me.

Typically, if someone's life choice doesn't harm me or others...then I'm going on with my life. Based on how tied to the hip net tax payers are to everyone else then it almost behooves me to have an opinion on how others live.

Freedom was never supposed to exist in a vacuum, this is a ruse by the left to get "conservatives" to go along with their social agenda. Freedom was predicated on the idea that a person should be allowed to do what was "right", not that they had license to do anything physically possible.

Or, you could fully understand my point and realize the bold is my problem with our society and not you.

The problem is, we've built a system that backstops terrible choices. My freedom is hurt by other's choices. Get rid of the safety net, let others be free to fail and I'll care a whole lot less about many things.

I don't really care if adults do drugs beyond not wanting tax dollars from productive citizens going to subsidize people who make poor life choices. If the welfare state was dismantled in totality, then go right ahead and do whatever you want.

I also don't want them in the hands of kids. That should not require explanation.

Your party would legalize turning boys into girls and girls into boys at age 2, removing age of consent laws, legalizing every other perversion that academia could come up with, allowing not only abortion, but infanticide (just about there already), euthanasia for any reason, even if the person doesn't want to die, but family or doctors decide it is the "right thing to do."

Your party would also remove the right to own any firearm, would eliminate freedom of speech using the claim of "hate speech" for anything they don't like, and then imprison anyone who dared to utter non-approved speech. The #1 target would be anything religious which goes against the alphabet soup crowd.
