It has nothing to do with if Americans are okay with this, no one would be for this if she was arrested in America. The point is we don't have a say in how another country handles this and we aren't going to get upset about it happening to someone who openly hates America.

I agree with Baller and that and itself is unusual, I don't like her either and her anti-American BS has really come back to bite her in the ass, but this is pretty extreme. However she did break the law. I do have empathy for her family as well.

If she does get released in the next few years, and that is a big if, I would really hope that her attitude would change when she came back here but I don't hold out a lot of hope for that.

I imagine she would blame the United States for not working hard enough to get her out even after everything she has said about our country. But it has been a democratic president that has been in charge during this so they can't play that card.

And, smuggling is not the same as possession.

When Grinder gets home it'll be volunteering for USO tours.

I honestly think the law is a lot like here where one vape cartridge is considered a felony, but you could have several ounces of weed and it's not even a slap on the wrist...at least here in Houston. My understanding is that she had vape cart(s), but I could be wrong. A lot of places treat that different than actual flower, for whatever reason. Prob because they can be dangerous if bootlegged or tainted or the THC levels are unquantifiable without very specific machinery?

It's definitely excessive punishment. But in vape terminology...0.7 grams is 70% of a big cartridge. And it goes A LOT further than .7 gram of flower. Takes the average person WEEKS to finish that amt of highly concentrated THC juice. 0.7 grams of flower could be one night....or even just a few min for the average California citizen lol.

My ultimate hope is that she is released after doing a little more time in hash conditions there, and has a newfound appreciation and love for her country upon return.

This...30% of them wanted my child taken away, 50% of them wanted me fined or imprisoned for "misinformation" or "questioning vaccine efficacy", and virtually ALL of them wanted me fired and for my family to suffer...all for making my own medical decisions.

I will never forget or forgive. I thought I despised liberals before, but that ratcheted up my hate to unprecedented levels. I despise them more than ISIS. At least ISIS members often have good excuses and you can kind of see why they fell into an extreme group like that.
