Just stop the charade and tell people what you really want, the return of poll taxes and literacy tests.
Are you just screaming this into the sky, or are you replying to someone on this thread?
Screaming into the endless void of the internet caught your attention, didn't it?

I want other Americans to stop lying about what I want.

Sounds like Lina wants some extra votes for her & Beto
Those in charge should never be allowed to manage another election ever.

Yep. Clean house. Put in Florida style standards and safeguards. Ridiculous that largest county and not the bluest county in state can't have any damn competence on voting day.

And that prevented no person from being in line by 7pm. So what?

You're 100% correct.

Want to vote, STAY IN LINE!

In other news, incompetence prevails on the logistics and planning levels.

Let's do literacy tests for the ones running the elections maybe???

My polling location was vacant at 8 AM, no workers in sight. I had to go two miles away to vote where I had to stand in line for 30 minutes. Sounds like suppression. My location was listed in the Harris county location PDF, but not marked on the interactive map. Fishy AF. I did report it to all the necessary entities. The new election dude needs to resign tomorrow. This is completely on him.

Election Day is ELECTION DAY. It's the day you elect people. Do away with mail in voting and maybe this **** will clean up quick.

I also think the delays were to force Republicans to give up and leave….but also give the dems time to tally votes, knowing extending hours for those that came back late to vote were most likely republicans. The states ruling was probably to prevent the printers going brrrrrr….but I think some legit R votes will be set aside or not counted.

I think that generally the polls remain open until everyone in line before 7 pm have voted.

I don't see the point in changing that to 8 pm. Even if they are having problems, as long as you were in line by 7 pm you should still be able to vote.
