Just make this insanity end. I don't care how we end it just make it stop.

Get a smartphone. Changes by itself. Your grandkids can direct you to the right place.

The democrat led House loves to push billions to Ukraine and all this other useless woke bull****, but they have an actual bill on their desk to permanently end the clock changing….but they won't do it.

Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.

Yep. Two of my favorite days of the year. Along with Christmas, National Signing Day, and opening day of dove season.

Moving to daylight saving time permanently could prevent 36,550 deer deaths, 33 human deaths and $1.19 billion in costs annually in the US.

This is just for the fall change. When it switches back in the spring, heart attacks rise 25%.

End daylight savings, and save America instead.

Well if set it all one way, leave the "spring forward" part. Really like having a good amount of daylight at the end of the work day. Able to go and take care of various things while good daylight to see by has always been a value. Especially now with some of the overall decline in conditions at night its good to have two hours or more where don't have to factor that as much. This is especially true for some of the retirees. They need the light to get around more smoothly.

I want more daylight in the evenings. The people who prefer the dark evenings can get bent.

Like most, I would like it to stay one way or the other.

I personally prefer Gods Time, where the sun is over head at noon. But I realize I'm in the minority and most lazy slobs like an hour more dark in the morning to sleep in.

And the peepaws like an early sundown so they can go to bed by 8 after Lubys at 5.

Another point in favor of leaving the spring forward, or set ahead, if lock it in--- look around just before the change-- Halloween , Friday, take your pick this week. Notice that it was already naturally getting dark now much closer to the 7pm range than in summer? You kind of get it anyway with no shift in clock needed falling back.

time changes are the worst. Just do stuff earlier or later in the day on your own and stop forcing this crap on the rest of us.

With young kids - fall back sucks just as much as spring forward - and golf isn't a determining factor. Dump the dumb practice and let DINKs suck up the minor crimp in their lifestyle.

Knowing one, what they do is just draw all the heavy curtains closed. Gets dark as a crypt even in July. So their ability to fake an early sundown is easier than faking good outside visibility conditions in the evening.

I like the fall back extra hour of sleep. I hate the spring forward jet lag.

In Texas it really doesn't matter because the days are relatively long even in the winter. Keeping DST all year would be fine with me.

However, when I lived in the north and DST was forced on us by the federal government in the 1970s, it was dark until almost 9:00 in the morning and even with DST it was still dark shortly after people got home from work. Elementary school kids were walking to school in the dark.

In the summer it was light by 5:00 AM with DST. Why have sunrise before 4:00? When you can be out on a boat fishing until after 9:00PM?

Whether or not having DST should be a choice of state governments.

Excellent point. Make it a choice of state governments --- maybe matters more along a polar direction (northern vs souther lats) than it does east to west.
