I was watching Fox News on YoutubeTv and an ad for Abbot came up. The app asked me if I wanted to take a break to something more serene (or something like that). I don't want a lot of tv on it, so I don't know if it does it for leftist ads as well. Or at the same frequency.

It's a YouTube tv thing. Does it occasionally for random commercials.

Nothing nefarious going on.

The "break" is like ten seconds of watching bears fish or butterflys on flowers. Crap like that.

Google is a truly evil company. They have manipulated GOP fundraising emails regularly to their donors and they put their thumb on the scale every chance they get with their algorithms. Understand that all these tech companies have an agenda and they are trying to manipulate you, don't ever think any search is organic or any ad you get is coincidental.

To be fair I got this option on a Beto campaign commercial. I gladly skipped.

For you to understand the depths google will go to, you need to listen to Dr. Robert Epstein explain it to Joe. He has been on the show a few times, but the depths he has to go to to prove the fact that Google does extremely shady things is awesome.

When surfing YouTube and an advert comes on for a Democrat I always click on the little white circled i ,usually on the upper left corner.

Leads to a don't see this ad again, the next window is the reason you want to give. I always press inappropriate or the most offensive reason option.

Interesting. What monitoring system was he talking about? At the family level to know what is being fed to your kids, or a national level system.

Youtube TV does this for all political commercials for me regardless of the candidate or PAC. It's actually a nice feature not some vast conspiracy folks.

Google willfully helps democrats and hurts republicans. Recall their company meeting after the 2016 election when the bosses said "we will work to make sure this doesn't happen again". They make no secret about it.
