This is the number 4 audiobook on Amazon. The book is 89 on Amazon. Kinda funny it lives up to the stereotype that Black people don't read. It's a joke relax.

Kyrie Irving suspended and lost Nike endorsement for only linking to it and later saying some of the things in the movie unfortunate are unfortunate. And Twitter is losing sponsors for supposedly promoting hate speech.

Only makes sense Nike, General Mills, etc will pull products from Amazon, Target, and Walmart where the offending movie/book is currently being sold. If a tweet linking the movie is outrageous, surely those making money off it should be punished also.

Funny to see where this goes. I haven't seen any NBA players support or call out Kyrie. All of a sudden they have no opinion. I've only seen ex-NBA players in the media call out Kyrie.

The irony of outrage culture is that it brings more attention to things like this.

On one hand, sunlight is good disinfectant.
On the other hand, no one heard of this book/ movie until the outrage machine put it on everyone's news feed

So true. Vatican made the same mistake with the idea of an "Index of Forbidden Books"

Certainly, here starting to wonder if need to screen it to see if it cites anything like facts. Why all this reaction otherwise if its the equivalent of "The Hollow Earth" ?

Since biblical times, there has been a satanic agenda to destroy God's chosen people. This agenda still exists today and is carried on by man in many forms. Satan knows who God's chosen people are, but for centuries, we have been ignorant to this knowledge, even though it's been right in front of our face. After many years of research, the time has finally come for all black people to know the truth.

Sounds like a rip off Hitlers master race.

Black Hebrew Israelite garbage. Kyrie can pimp it if he wants, but he should be called an idiot for believing it.

Book is garbage and Kyrie and Ye are saying some stupid things.

That said when you have very popular black guys coming out and talking about how Jews run the world and are the real power and the reaction is to immediately destroy them that's not a good move. Denounce them sure. Debate them even better. Silencing an destroying them though just fuels the conspiracy theories.

I will say. Just checked Amazon, and the kindles and audio book all give "I'm sorry, an error occurred" when you click on the display of that title.

They don't watch out its going to become a collector's item for people who have never even opened a book but will sell it at auctions.

Do others get the same error message at Amazon? Could be an isp fluke.

I pulled it up to read the description with no problem. Actually my previous was from that description on Amazon.

Fwiw there was also a disclaimer at the end talking about views expressed in book not representing blah blah...

I had an issue this morning with Chrome getting to multiple websites. Dunno what kicked it off, but restarting my computer seems to have cured it.

That said, I'm still perturbed. My paternal grandmother used to read to me when I'd visit years and years ago. She passed in 1998, and we cleaned out her home shortly after. A few years later I asked about a particular book. Pretty sure a 1st or early edition Uncle Remus went to the consignment house.

It was clearly a flutter then. It does show the description page and similar books, and all the comments, but not the purchasing/download info. Says error occurred.

There seem to be multiple volumes. Wonder which one Kyrie was into.

I must admit that a small part of my distaste about this is going to watch the Aggies get curb stomped again and having to listen to some stupid siren instead of Power at the intro. They of course don't even play Bonfire correctly because it is also too controversial. So lame. I hate cancel culture.

When you read it, what were some of the major points? What was the supposed evidence used?

Second that request. It looks like it may be made a little tricky to examine. Can you distill some of its basis for claims? The distant past isn't really all that fixed as many seem to think --- the whole Egyptian chronology we grew up with seems a bit wrong for example, which shuffles some various iron age dates, etc.

I got the "something went wrong" error message when I clicked then didn't when I tried a second time. Maybe just a bug from whatever alphabet agency is monitoring the clicks!

I admit I haven't read any more than summaries of the book, I don't need to read it as it isn't something that interests me and it sounds terrible. I've been to Dachau. I've visited the Holocaust Museum. I understand the fear of Jewish hatred and I don't care for it at all.

My point is that I think it is ridiculous to cancel someone for reading books or advocating stances I disagree with and when those stances seem to be based on paranoia about cancellation and it actually happens that only makes the conspiracy stronger. I also don't like anyone being able to hide behind their race or sex or religion as a buffer against criticism. I find it especially ironic when people say criticizing Soros is anti semitic when he is a non practicing Jew who literally collaborated with the Nazis during WWII. It disgusts me.

I don't know much about this book and it seems a little whacko but what I can tell is that there are a bunch of liberals leaving negative reviews on Amazon for it over the past week, but not a single one show as "verified purchaser". Seems like they are taking marching orders from the media about this book and leaving 1 star reviews without even reading/owning it.

Amazon should require all reviews to be "verified purchasers".

Jaylen Brown (Celtics) has tweeted support of Kyrie, which kind of blew up in his face.

Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown was one the few active players to speak out in defense of Kyrie Irving during the Nets guard's suspension, and on Sunday as Irving was about to return to the floor, Brown shared a video of a group of demonstrators outside Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

According to Brown, he believed the group belonged to a fraternity that had shown up in support of Irving. The group in the video, however, was a contingent of Black Hebrew Israelites that has gathered outside Barclays Center on multiple occasions. Reporters on the scene shared the demonstrators were handing out propaganda that mirrored the rhetoric found in the antisemitic film Irving promoted on Twitter, an action that led to his suspension.

Funny Nets reddit thread with a video of Kyrie's supporters lined up outside of Barclay's.
