I listened to the podcast. Crenshaw is talking about people running in this election claiming they can overturn the 2020 results.

The discussion is actually about the pros and cons of rank choice voting for those interested in that.

Despite what Hufflpost wants you to believe, Crenshaw doesn't say on this podcast that there was no cheating, etc. He's talking about the extreme things people say to win primaries and how primary systems with plurality winner make telling those lies our bad candidates in general tickets

Like him or hate him, but at least actually listen to what he said, not what media pushes. That goes for all, but just Crenshaw
He's not wrong. Glad I voted for him today again.

I starred it. It's a good meme.

Great maps you have there. I don't believe 10million people in LA County vote. I don't believe 9m in Chicago vote. I don't believe 8.5m in NYC vote. Of the ones that do vote, yes, many are poor government dependent welfare state people who don't pay taxes and would vote for socialists and some are elitist progressives who would vote socialist like you did, but I don't believe 100% of them vote for a senile corrupt racist pedophile old career politician who didn't/couldn't even bother to campaign from his basement with a media lid on him almost every day only getting a dozen or so people to attend a "rally" in Philly about 20 minutes from his basement.

...and the previous record for popular votes was Obama who won a lot more counties than Biden with a lot fewer votes.

Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.

At the time I was as suspicious as anyone else, but after 2 years, all the attempts at uncovering fraud, ect, there's just no bite to the bark. So many people would have to have conspired and so much would be left out to being exposed, it just isn't congruent with reality to think it was "stolen".

Ah yes. More "votes than registered voters". You cracked the case 730 days later with a Facebook meme. Somehow the Trump campaign, Trump lawyers, RNC, state republican parties and lawyers didn't even catch it.

The actual RV turnout, in Nevada for instance, was 78% not 125%.

Then you keep burying your head in the sand.

P.S.: Buy a Powerball ticket. Your chances of winning are more favorable than the statistical probability of how those "votes" came in, when they came in and the percentages for Biden over Trump in the swing states targeted by David Plouffe, Zuckbucks, CTCL. CEIR and ERIC.
Whistle Pig
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I've seen these hilarious "statistical impossibilities" that rely on the assumption that Detroit will vote with the same pattern as rural Michigan. In fact Trump overperformed in swing state urban areas and turnout was lower. The opposite of what we'd expect if there was "massive fraud".

Trump lost. Everybody knows it, he knows it. It's pretty pathetic to throw away democracy over this C list clown from Queens.

Oh you mean how pretty much 100% of all the people too scared to vote in person because of Covid voted for Biden? Makes sense to me.

Yeah he did. Straight from the podcast:

Quote:

But even just the others, they're like, 'Yeah, we know that, but we just, you know, people just need their last hurrah. Like, they just need to feel like we fought one last time. Trust me, it'll be fine.' And I was like, 'No, it won't. That's not what people believe and that's not what you're telling them. And maybe you're smart enough to know that but like …' So we have a lot of people in the political world that are just willing to say things they know aren't true, they know aren't true. It's a huge manipulation.
BMX Bandit

In this case, I don't think the tweet is fake news. People have juice grossly misrepresented what it says.

The HuffPost article title "election deniers" shown on the story link is a complete fabrication
Whistle Pig
How long do you want to ignore this user?
How does it "grossly misrepresent"? He says reps were saying one thing in public, lying(denying), and telling the truth behind closed doors.

Multiple Republican Senators and congressmen have said the same thing for two years.

It's insane the unwillingness of people to accept the results and move on. How many suits were filed and nothing came from any of them. Lots of tin foil hats in on this forum.
You haven't read the 500 plus pages in the Politics forum about this!

I missed where a dem lied and said 66,000 underage voters voted in Georgia. Or that magic machines flipped millions of votes. Then signed a sworn declaration attesting to that lie in a lawsuit, against advice of counsel, in an illegal attempt to overturn the results.

You voted for a man who lied about his son's business dealings in China, among thousands of other provable lies. What do you care about lying?

Only person you can trust with an eye patch is Snake Plisken. That ain't Snake.

Zuckerberg added 400MM to the budget for stealing* the election. Possibly a total budget of 1+ billion to steal* the election. Brilliantly organized and executed with some genius moves involved. Hell an idiot could pull it off and pay to eliminate any gaps of stupidity with that budget. It was a lock.

*fortify, fortifying as the swine say.
Whistle Pig

NBD to lie about those 66,000 underage votes in a lawsuit to fraudulently overturn an election loss then? After your lawyers told you it was a lie. An absurd lie most normal people wouldn't even entertain and made him look like a fool.

I'm not aware of JB ever stating HB never had business dealings with Chinese companies.

Have you not been watching MSNBC or CNN this week? They have been having people (historians, anchors, politicians) on stating democracy is going to die next week. You know exactly what they are doing.

Truth hurts sometimes. Crenshaw is a neocon, but he's right about some knowing they were pushing a lie. Go read the Eastman emails. This doesn't mean there was no cheating. Of course there was. But Trump's crew pushed a story they knew was fake and many are it up. Still do. He's talking about this

Quote:

Because I'm like, the promises you're making that you're gonna challenge the Electoral College and overturn the election, there's not even a process for you to do that. It doesn't even exist

The fake electors scam was just that. A scam.

If both parties are pushing lies, go with the party you care about. He knows we are stuck with a two party system,so any slam against your party is support for the other party. I don't see him trying to form another party, so he must want the other party to be successful.

That's a useful distinction, no question. And if there are candidates running now, saying they can get it overturned, that's insane.

I'm proud to have voted again for Crenshaw yesterday. He's a great representative and a good man. The Republican Party shouldn't be the party of groupthink. Leave that to the left. He's going to vote what I would have voted 95% of the time and that's good enough.

I stand by what I said, there will be nothing like Trump's lies when dems (likely) lose ground in 2022.

An equivalent would be Biden lying about ES&S machines, saying they flipped millions of votes to Republicans. You know, I know, everybody knows. That. Won't. Happen.

That's what's different. I'm a one issue voter. I like the politicians that leave peacefully when we fire their ass.
