What Kanye said was dumb, uneducated, and insensitive. He's always been volatile, even with this recent 'conversion' to Christianity - which I think he still doesn't fully grasp.

But if you picked a random playlist of modern music, odds are you would stumble across several 'artists' that have said insensitive things in their personal lives or put it in their music about women, violence, taking advantage of other people, etc.

The outrage lacks authenticity when you see what's allowed to pass in music and pop culture these days.
