Hispanic means from Spanish speaking Spain. The Romans called them Hispanus. The Spanish language is spoken in various forms around the world like in the Philippines. All derived from the Spanish empire much like the English Empire with English being spoken in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the US.

Right. It may not stay red, but its not going blue. In fact, a scenario where it becomes part of Mexico again is not out of all question in the mid and especially long term.

Attend almost any high school graduation in south or southeast Texas you will see how true this is. A lot of kids with four names or hyphenated last names.

If you're worried about losing the Hispanic vote, you should be. It's changing.

Probably as much due to the fact that it is the Democratic Party that has changed so much. Where there is genuine desire to not even seek to get along with or compromise. The woke agendas are too malefic and regressive.

Now your understanding has been increased. Mexican is a culture not a language. Spanish is a language with many dialects around the world. FYI Brazil speaks Portuguese not Spanish.

I've talked to several people about the problems in the valley. The lifelong Mexican residents are livid with Biden's policies. They're afraid to leave their homes.

Factor that though, against the woke derangement progression of the Left. Even since Obama's last term.

It is quite likely that nothing that applied before 2012 has any relevance anymore for knowing which way any given demographic is going to break.

Yeah, sounds like a good tradeoff to me.

More future voters from a demographic (especially amongst the folks who are citizens of the USA and legally eligible to vote) that is trending more and more conservative/Republican... and fewer future voters from the demographic that is more susceptible to the siren's song of woke leftism.

Umm dude... it's 2022, not 2002... and Ruy Teixeira's "Emerging Democratic Majority" thesis is competing with Algore's "Hockey Stick" for most wrong hypothesis of the 21st century.

Election results show conservatives have been losing ground in Texas.

You haven't looked at the last few elections in the Valley...where most of the new majority are.

It's been getting less blue and a few counties even turned red.

It's the large cities in Texas that have been trending blue. But, that's not because a bunch of brown people moved there...

Lots of anti Trump votes from Gringos in 2020. I bet that spread goes up in 2024. I don't think Trump is going to run either.

The democrats almost pulled it off, but then they started telling a culture that literally defines its language by gender association that the idea of a set gender is a fantasy and you are a bigot if you believe otherwise.

That. It really seems to be due to older white women and college graduates. The reason say that is the ones that put out a Beto sign know that had been a Bush43 voter are either divorcees or widowed.

Its less clear what the married young suburban ones are trending.

They were white before they were brown and are now white again.

They've always been in the white category but then got grouped into the brown category when Democrats needed them for votes. Now that the Democrats have elevated blacks to Preferred Minority status they have started grouping Hispanics back into the white category in order to elevate blacks.

If you look at demographic statistics from a variety of sources over the last couple of years, you will notice that they started combining Hispanics back into white categories - not everywhere but I've noticed in several cases lately. They will dump Hispanics underneath the white umbrella and you have to dig into the white stats to find them as a subgroup, if they call them out.

BINGO. Truth is that demographic doesn't even like old fashioned first wave feminism. Hences all the accusations of being `chauvinistic'. This is "south of the border" ridicule of any feminist statement there wasn't just a meme. The gender derangement agenda has to be the most off-putting thing they have seen yet.
