Ouch.

Get ready for the pain, not just here in the US, but Euro zone and elsewhere.

I think the BRICs countries are ratcheting things up economically against the west.

LOL. This is the one, single thing that Biden or democrats can never spin.

Trump completely neutered OPEC+ to the point their meetings never even made the news.

We could become less reliant on Saudi Arabia by, I don't know, using more renewable energy and thus using less of their oil.

We could just produce our own oil and not rely on Saudi Arabia at all.

Congress just passed a historic climate bill. Now is the time to push forward with renewables, not go backwards.

OPEC looking out for themselves. It's a shame the US is so entrenched in this green dogma that we can't look out for ourselves.

No. We should be using all of our resources to put us in the best position. Fossil fuels, natural gas, nuclear and renewables.

A portfolio approach as opposed to an eggs all in one underdeveloped basket.

You're talking to someone who is proud of the appointment of Ketanji Brown-Jackson to the supreme court, who supported vaccine mandates on airlines, and who literally thinks Donald Trump is a terrorist.

You'd have more success convincing your brick wall that it's actually a window.

That was before the Biden administration went to the Saudis on their knees. The sheiks said "Oh WTH, let's make it 2MM."

Come on man, you know what renewables are. It's all that magical stuff that we have to expend ungodly amounts of fossil fuels on in order to mine, refine, and transport the materials to make it work, creating new and improved environmental disasters. And it doesn't really work that well or at night or when there is no wind.

You know, renewables.

We're not reliant on KSA.

But it is a world market so their production does impact the price at the pump.

You probably don't remember the gas lines in 1979 when there was no gas at any price and people like John Denver got busted for hoarding gasoline.

Even if possible, won't happen in the next few decades. Renewable energy is unreliable, resulting the absolute necessity for massive redundant systems. Currently, the redundant systems are natural gas, coal and petroleum.

The climate change/global warming minions live in a a fantasy world. We have posters here that actually believe if the grid goes down the owners of EVs can just plug in their cars to support the electrical needs of the nation. sheer lunacy
