Financiers are at the root of so many problems in the world.
Simple people don't know better than what they're told because they're too lazy to do research, so instead, they just know what the media (TV, social, etc) spoon-feeds them, including who their boogeyman is. It's easier to rally anger and hatred if you can put a name and face to something. Politics 101.
Those who look a little deeper see that the boogeyman is one in a long line, and is never alone. For decades the left's boogeyman version of Soros was Rupert Murdoch or the Koch brothers, but I'm sure if I asked my parent's generation and my grandparent's generations who was the Republican boogeyman in their time I am sure they'd have a name or two they could call off the top of their head.
In the end, you have to follow the money, because there are always many people who push for things because they benefit from anything we can think of. I have come to learn to include the politicians on both sides who use any event to earn political capital for themselves, and more importantly donations from their corporate masters.
I hope she isn't bought and paid for by anyone, as is standard in politics, for it'll make all of her accomplishments even that much better.
