Well it says the selection right under the office…
So? If they are printed, how do we know that they accurately reflect how the voter actually voted? They are just a paper copy of a digital file, and digital files can be manipulated six ways to Sunday. That piece of paper isn't evidence of anything.

If that is all you have, then what that tells us is that there is no actual way to audit the election results.

Well hopefully they would read their selections before they put it in the ballot box… if the voter doesn't get to see this piece of paper then yeah their is a problem.
Good point. Does the voter see the piece of paper and put it in the box, or do they vote on a screen and never see any paper? I don't believe that all EVMs provide paper to the voter but simply tally the votes electronically. Could be wrong, though, and a quick search didn't answer the question.

In Brazos County, Texas we vote on screen and never see paper results. We don't use dominion here though and no one seems to care.
The entire point of Dominion machines is to fix this problem, you are trusting the machine, you should get a piece of paper with your selections to put in a box.

Link?

It would be interesting to find out how many people actually review their ballot to make sure that it accurately reflects their votes.

I'd take it a step further, the voter ought to be able to keep an official record of thier vote

So?

Where is the evidence that all dominion machines print out a ballot like that which is then scanned? You just keep posting a picture as if that answers every possible question.

Also, somebody above claimed that an audit was done on 7 million ballots. They were challenged on that and asked for a link, but as best I can recall never provided one.

Assuming that you are correct that all dominion machines do print out ballots which are scanned, has an audit been done post election on those ballots and compared them to the reported results?

Would you accept a piece of paper with no QR or bar code. Just a simple print out that with your name and who you voted for

Your answer to this question will explain much

You want peoples names on a piece of paper with their votes? That is incredibly ****ed up…

And I have already stated, the QR is useless with OCR now a thing.

This country made it from the late 1700s to the early 2000s on paper ballots; we can return to these methods. Only ****ing idiots think its a good idea to have an electronic system count / tabulate votes. No electronic device is safe from hacking / manipulation.

Humans can't read QR codes. And that is what Dominion uses. They have never denied that. Even in the states, such as Geogia, where that is against state law.
You're either lying, intentionally misleading, or grossly misinformed 2 years later, "wise old sage".

All BMD ballots print the selections in English. These ballots are the official voting record, they are not "receipts". We vote the same way in most Texas counties. You go to the BMD(Ballot Marking Device) and make your selections, then you print your ballot *you have not cast your vote yet*, then you go to the tabulator and insert the ballot. That's where your vote is counted. The paper ballots are retained and can be audited to verify the machine count.

In related news, Dominion is suing everybody for lying or knowingly promoting liars.

Quote:

In recent days, Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson and Jeanine Pirro were among the network hosts scheduled to appear for questioning in Dominion's lawsuit, which is seeking $1.6 billion in damages from the cable news network. Dominion has argued that Fox Corp.'s Fox News and Fox Business made false claims that its voting machines rigged the results of the 2020 election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Top brass Rupert Murdoch and Lachlan Murdoch are also expected to be deposed since the parent company has been sued, too.

Dominion and Smartmatic have launched a series of defamation lawsuits against individuals and groups who spread election fraud conspiracy theories related to their voting machines during the 2020 presidential election.

Dominion filed three $1.6 billion defamation suits against One America News, Newsmax, and Patrick Byrne Tuesday, and more could be on their way. Dominion has sent cease-and-desist notices and warnings to preserve documents to more than 150 people, and its CEO previously told CNBC that the company was "not ruling anyone out."

Why doesn't Dominion release an app that lets you read the QR code? That seems like a simple thing to do.

If I'm Dominion, I want to do everything in my power to avoid even the appearance of impropriety.

If the QR codes match the selections, release the QR code scanning algorithm. What harm could be done?
