Geez. This country is not well. No way people like this guy or Biden would have even been considered as long shot candidates a decade ago (assuming same age and cognitive state).

Half the people that will vote for this guy will have never even heard him speak. They see a (D) next to the name and check the box. It's sad, but most leftists are sheep that do absolutely no research on candidates and just vote the way the media and social media tell them to.

For a Senate seat, if the remainder of the term is more than 2 years, there would be a special election, but the governor does name a replacement until the election is held.

We had two in 2020, one in Arizona and the other in Georgia. This is why Georgia had two Senate races at the same time.

Fetterman is running this ad. Yeah, so I don't think is going to work out quite the way he thinks it will. Saying your opponent needs to be nice to you and not mention that you had a stroke and are struggling with health issues so vote for me to represent you for the next 6 years is a bold strategy.

That would be news to his handlers/campaign. If they really thought that, he'd be out there like NONE of the time. He may not be out a lot, and may not want to debate at all, but he's out and on video. They feel they've got to get him out every now and then, which they wouldn't believe if they knew they had it in the bag.

There aren't any guarantees, of course, and cheating could occur, but I think Oz will win. There aren't any indys who are going to vote for Fetterman and the few conservatives that might think of staying home probably won't this year due to inflation and other reasons -- like being pissed that PA was stolen from them in 2020 when they did vote.

The defeatist attitude on here is borderline psychotic. I mean, yeah, I understand it. I also understand why you think Oz isn't the greatest candidate in the world. But if the cheating were going to occur anyway, whoever Oz beat in the primary would lose in the general, right?

Or, are you asserting PA wouldn't cheat if Oz's opponent had won? School me on that idea, please.
