That's a great list of failures of the GOP. Bush, McCain, and Romney while terrible candidates, they were still better than the opposition. What we are experiencing now is the right pushing back trying to rid the party of these types of passive "reach across the aisle " candidates. Being nice, or dem lite does not work. He was the right guy at the right time. He was a whirlwind of truth telling and common sense on the things that mattered who got in the weeds on many things that did not. You are always going to have to take the good with the bad when it comes to elected officials, so give me the one that did what Trump did vs anyone else who would just settle comfortably into the Deep State Throne.

He's given us the model going forward. We can only hope we get candidates that emulate his positives while polishing up his negatives (although some of his negatives were needed to call out some truths).

For the third time- Trump changed tactics. Fought differently and even though not perfect accomplished more good for co serrations and the American people than 3 decades of traditional conservatives.
