Maybe not before the election, but if Abbott and DeSantis win, they should start sealing the borders themselves and expel federal agents not doing the job or hire those who want to do it, but haven't been allowed to.

Why not just deport them? this may be an effective stunt, but I'd rather we send troops down to the border and stop this garbage. I don't care who disapproves or if they think we don't have the authority. enough is enough.

No to stop criminal aliens who have broken our laws. They are not economic migrants. They don't have a right to be here. We can't take all of them. We are overloaded. Housing crisis everywhere. The whole system is messed up, but you're glossing over the fact that they are criminals and are breaking the law. ITS ILLEGAL! End of story. They should not be allowed in based our our country's laws. PERIOD. They aren't coming legally. It's not correct to call them economic migrants. They are criminal aliens.

Our effect on their countries is overstated. If anything I'd say we help them a lot.

Not to mention if you are going to make screwy foreign policy the criteria, that is all the more reason to send them to NV, Delaware, the East Coast. Foreign policy is set by the elite political-press class.

The more re-read this the less sense it makes.

Are you saying we have to take them in even if burdensome or dangerous because foreign policy set by elites supposedly messed up their countries?

You realize your namesake city is one end of an axis that D.C/Alexandria, VA is the other and that along that stretch of wealth concentration are most of those responsible for that policy? By your argument they should all be sent to that stretch of 100 miles or so.

Abbott should hold a press conference and indicate he is increasing the number of immigrants he is busing to Northern cities, under the premise of global warming. It's really just too hot for these immigrants to stay in the southern climates. All part of our green energy plan to reduce our carbon footprint and keep these immigrants safe.

Of course this also means we can increase the rate of transfer from the border to NYC which is good for Texas. Hopefully someone in NY is keeping track of the cost of this tent city.
