Here's my question. If Trump became president again how much difficulty would Trump have finding qualified appointees who would be WILLING to work for him?

So many of his appointees ended up quitting and being on the end of Trump's sharp edged tongue. That's gonna turn off a lot of potential choices I'm skeptical he could put together a really top flight team.

Other opinions?

P1 - Politicize the military? Sorry, all Presidents do this and should. It is the force behind the foreign agenda (and should be used as such, unless they lied to the American people on its intended use when they approved of it when voting) and as a last resort to maintain domestic peace. That is exactly what Trump did.

P2 - Fear in the American People? Preposterous. I challenge him to show one single instance of fear in the American People in any appreciable numbers. It did not happen. Maybe a few woke leftists, but no appreciable numbers, realistically.

P3 - Equality? The US Constitution was meant to create equality in the groups he mentioned outside of the military and instead in everyday life. There is nothing in the Constitution that mentions the military and equality. The military is a fighting force that to be most effective should have the physical requirements and/or mental requirements met for the particular MOS, regardless of the demographics mentioned in the P. Those who want to make it a social experiment of demographic inclusion are subverting this country.

P4 - International disorder? Really? I mean I felt pretty safe before 2021. There were less international hostilities and our military was respected because it was geared to the fighting mission, not a social experiment. Now we have our major enemies actively waving swords, and in one major instance, actively starting a shooting war.

If that letter is from Milley, he should be very ashamed and run out on a rail. Not to mention, he should retake several grammar courses. In fact, a two sentence resignation letter would be more appropriate, if that is how he felt.

Please accept my resignation. I have come to realize that my leftist political beliefs of equality and world order are in direct conflict with the best interests of creating and leading the world's best fighting force, while assuring civilian control.

I'm fairly certain that the vast majority of our former great military and civilian leaders would agree.

It will be virtually impossible for Trump to find anyone, not much easier for DeSantis.
