So, no specifics. Just generalizations. No examples, just pure emotion.
Quote:
U.S. Army General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, wrote a histrionic resignation letter to then-President Donald Trump after federal officials cleared rioters out of Lafayette Square back in the summer of 2020.
Quote:
"Beginning on Saturday May, 30, 2020, the USPP were under a state of siege and routinely subject to attack by violent crowds," Bernhardt wrote to members of the House Natural Resources Committee, which oversees the Interior Department.
"The incidents are numerous and include USPP officers having their police cars vandalized; being subject to bombardment by lighted flares; Molotov cocktails, rocks, bricks, bottles and other projectiles; and physical assault so violent that to date over 50 area law enforcement officers have been injured to some degree," Bernhardt wrote, adding that one officer required emergency surgery.

It turned out that the generals had rules, standards, and expertise, not blind loyalty. The President's loud complaint to John Kelly one day was typical: "You ****ing generals, why can't you be like the German generals?"
"Which generals?" Kelly asked.
"The German generals in World War II," Trump responded.
"You do know that they tried to kill Hitler three times and almost pulled it off?" Kelly said.
But, of course, Trump did not know that. "No, no, no, they were totally loyal to him," the President replied. In his version of history, the generals of the Third Reich had been completely subservient to Hitler; this was the model he wanted for his military. Kelly told Trump that there were no such American generals, but the President was determined to test the proposition.
If he actually had principals he would have resigned over all the crap that's happened during the Biden administration*C@LAg said:

It will be virtually impossible for Trump to find anyone, not much easier for DeSantis.aggiedent said:
Example number 47 of Trump making really bad personnel choices.
Here's my question. If Trump became president again how much difficulty would Trump have finding qualified appointees who would be WILLING to work for him?
So many of his appointees ended up quitting and being on the end of Trump's sharp edged tongue. That's gonna turn off a lot of potential choices I'm skeptical he could put together a really top flight team.
Other opinions?

Obama purged much of the officer corps of anyone who wasn't a dedicated leftist.
That's what most noticed. So basically of `left plane' of mind even under Trump. This explains his backing wokeness and joining the anti-white and west ranks.Ghost of Bizbee said:
That's how the left approaches everything
It's all about how they "feel"
I think you just insulted otherwise decent poons everywhere by assigning that term to the scumbag MilleyGhost of Bizbee said:

Yes, that woudl be the best explanation. But its an established poster so took it at face value.MouthBQ98 said:
That can't be real. It's a bunch of whiny platitudes based off of bad and biased political narratives.
