General Mark Milley's unused resignation letter is full of generalizations, slogans, and platitudes. Milley is just another example of high level military officers, who prioritize political correctness over military cohesion and readiness.

Check out the link in the `blue' "report" of C@LAg's post. I missed seeing the blue of the active link in the word the first time. Looks like a valid write-up. See what you think.

I think that is at least partially true of the field officer rank, particularly those in the senior ranks. That has been written about a number of times over the years. Not new accusations.

The left is pulling out all the stops to vilify and demean Trump. The next thing you know they will be raiding his house to look for tidbits they can "leak" to the press to make him look bad....oh, wait!!!

What a *****.

If you didn't have the balls to stand by your convictions then, why release the letter today? Missing the attention??? No, you just confirmed you'll do what's best for YOU. Eff you man. You disgrace the uniform.

Milley actively subverted his commander in chief. He bungled the Afghanistan exit. He's overseeing an army that can't recruit many to join. Hes fired thousands for not getting a jab that doesnt do much for the typical army soldier, if anything and hes firing them in the middle of a staffing shortage. It's hard to see much he has done successfully.

I'd respect him and others like him in positions of real power if they did ritual suicide instead of tick tok whining.
About 20 yrs ago Admiral Boorda provided an example that has long been forgotten....

So, no specifics. Just generalizations. No examples, just pure emotion.

Example number 47 of Trump making really bad personnel choices.

Here's my question. If Trump became president again how much difficulty would Trump have finding qualified appointees who would be WILLING to work for him?

So many of his appointees ended up quitting and being on the end of Trump's sharp edged tongue. That's gonna turn off a lot of potential choices I'm skeptical he could put together a really top flight team.

Other opinions?
Who would work for Trump that cares for their family and or their own livelihood? Just about everyone who did was bought off, threatened off, or quit due to the nasty shenanigans of the deep state and it hasn't stopped nearly 2 years out of office.

Yeah a huge problem, that is why its nearly impossible to drain the swamp. There are no Ds and Rs there are those in the club and those on the outside and God Help you if you mock it or try to take it down in any way.
