I don't think that claim has anything to do with the origin of the word. You know how when you drive through pretty much any small town in Texas the largest structure is the football stadium? In Wyoming it's the rodeo arena.

Well in fairness, that's the daughter of Dick Cheney. The most hated man by the Democrats and the Media in the first part of the century. They probably thought they were voting for a foe of the Democrats. Its easy to see why got the idea.

I only ask because if the election is even 80% fair, she's gonna get smashed, and she knows it. Much like the Dems continue to actively, and indirectly, support murder, rape, and assault (see over 500 riots in 2020 with little to no jail time), and still support child trafficking and human trafficking at the border, they know there's going to be repercussions in November with an 80% fair election. I still don't believe we'll get the Senate, which should be easy, but should easily gain 20 seats in the Legislature.

The ONLY thing I can see the Dems have done is start to backtrack on "defund the police". Otherwise, they don't seem to give a damn. There's really something going on, and it's more than shenanigans at the ballot box. We don't have to worry about electoral college this time.

Weak? Guess again. Saying that because Mexico "claimed" Wyoming, before it even existed, is the epitome of weak! And even if they did claim the territory, they sure as hell never occupied it and ranched it, for decades or longer, as they did what is now South and West Texas. Try again.

Once again, the fact that the word is part of the Mexican native language speaks volumes. And I don't mean to diminish the influence of Wyoming on the evolution of the cultural icon. But a claim to have originated it is ambitious indeed! Ask yourself the question, why would they have appropriated the Spanish word to name the activity? Not sure where the definitive answer lies, but I trust my own intuition over the "evidence" you've offered so far.

True, but when he was younger Costner was a little more right leaning/moderate republican.

But yes most of Hollywood leans left. And those who stand up against it or show their republican/conservative views are getting backlash. Look at James Woods. I don't think they'll even hire him anymore. It's sad. Costner made a few comments about Trump too, he is not a fan so I'm sure that's part of it.

I know it's a role and I do like Yellowstone, but it's amazing that he can spend that much time up in Montana, yes I know it's not Wyoming, but it's the same part of the country, play this role of a guy that supposedly fighting for what America used to be to a degree, of course there's a lot of murder another stuff that goes on, and yet he can still sit here and be so tone deaf to what Liz Cheney has become.

It does go to show you that most of those are just roles to them and they can play a character that they don't identify with. Which is true of most actors but you think being around the people he is around in both making Yellowstone and the area he's in, etc. He would've realized it's not with the left claim it to be.

He's always been one of my favorite actors and he still is but I think he really screwed up opening his mouth here. Just should've kept it shut. He has a right to think and feel and say whatever he wants to, of course, but the reaction he's gotten off of this I don't think it's going to be worth it or he just doesn't give a ***** Either way his life, his choice but this is really backfired on him. But that said, they'll be many people that will agree with him and praise him for it.

I'm all for a representative or senator that is country before party but that is not what Liz Cheney has done. She has put herself before her constituents and her country and her party. He really backed the wrong horse here, IMO.

My message to the Cheneys, Kasichs, Hogans, and Romneys of this world in 2024 is this:

My support for the 2024 GOP nominee will be influenced by how well that person supported our President from 2017 to 2021.

If you were part of a coup attempt, or went AWOL while the Piss Tape Prophets were at work, then you will not be getting my vote.

If it is her or one of her cohorts, then I'll stay home and let them rot in the burning pile of manure they created by voting that pedophile scum into the White House.
