Gaetz isn't wrong in his statement - but this child sex trafficking allegation stuff keeps coming up, what are the odds there's fire behind all this smoke?
Waiting for the next batch of talking points.TexAgs91 said:

The rest was just me telling you where I currently stand. The facts aren't clear on those yet. Unlike many in here, I try to refrain from planting a flag until the facts ARE clear.

I second this motion. Let's hear it Vaulter.

When asked directly about Roe he called it "settled case law" and referred to it as confirmed by "precedent on precedent".
Regardless of where you personally stand on Roe, you can't deny that he lied about where he stood, while answering questions under oath.
He basically stopped just short of swearing on his mother's grave that he wouldn't overturn Roe when he knew that's exactly what he was going to help others do.
Good, who cares if he lied to the left? I recommend everyone do it, whatever it takes to crush them.aggievaulter07 said:

Meh, precedent gets overturned by later courts with some frequency. Seems like it was Alito pushing the reversal of the widely-considered bad ruling that upheld Roe. Kavanaugh maybe gave it the consideration of stare decisis but agreed with Alito when Kav read the Constitution and didn't see anything about abortion in it and realized it was not a federal issue.

How is that a lie? It's a fact that it was precedent upon precedent. He said he would not comment on how he's rule on a case, as all nominees appropriately do.
You are either being dishonest or were duped by some MSM or twitter account.

This.
Vaulter does not seem to understand the nuance of his answer. Vaulter only seems to think binary, D-good, R-bad.
Complete lack of awareness.CDUB98 said:

I'm not going to relive the entire discussion. Why do we care about this on a thread about Matt Gaetz?aggievaulter07 said:
LOL you guys know exactly why he said it the way he did. He was intentionally deceptive. Where I come from, that's called lying.
You guys are squirming around on semantics and technicalities because you know he was bull****ting everyone with his answer.
