Two things:

1) A USSS Agent can't defy a subpeona, right?

2) Why, if Trump ordered them to drive him to the Capitol, as has been testified under oath, did they ignore a direct order from their commander?

PotUS' security detail doesn't necessarily take orders when they directly conflict with security protocols. If the SS agent in charge didn't agree, I don't think they just pop to and follow his directive. Could be wrong, I am half white.
