Yep, once. Never again. There weren't brawls like that but definitely loud arguments from this demo. Carnival has been like this a long time, Spirit is the new Carnival, not the other way around.

Based on my experience, the more affordable short cruises , are just "gambling boats" for some people.
The longer cruises have a more relaxed vibe.

I did a Carnival cruise from Charleston to Bahamas about 6 years ago and it was totally fine. lots of obese white people eating ice cream for breakfast.

More than likely they started it. One probably screwed several different men each day, but then screwed someone elses man. That someone else, instead of being mad at the guy, gets mad at the woman and calls her a Hoe, which despite her active activities, finds that as an insult to her goodness. then it is on!!

I've been on several Carnival cruises from various ports. My daughter works on a Carnival ship currently. I will say that the only one I sailed on from the northeast (Baltimore) was way different than all the others I've been on (Galveston, New Orleans, Miami). The passengers out of Baltimore were awful...I've never seen the like. And I went not realizing that mid-late April was spring break for the northeast school kids...I should have checked first. By far my worst cruise experience.

For sure. Only reason is that is the ship our daughter works on. Luckily, that changes this month...her contract ends this month. After some time off, she'll be moving to the Alaska (Carnival Spirit) route until they move it to Miami for the fall.

Pretty much any "cheap" vacation is a high risk point.

Take large groups of low socioeconomic folks, add a bunch of alcohol and free time - and you end up with this.

Personally I'd rather concentrate my vacation dollars on fewer trips and essentially pay for exclusivity. I avoid thinks like cruises, inexpensive resorts and theme parks.
