I doubt that, seriously doubt it. Way too many Soros funded think tanks and foundations around for her to get a paycheck. Like 99% of people rotating in and out of the State Department. At one point or another (even several different times) they are on a Soros payroll.

After a few years she'll wind back up on the Hill as a Schiff4Brains type of Dem staffer.

I watched yesterday more out of curiosity than anything else. My sole question was why, if the committee believed her and had corroboration, why wasn't she the lead off witness during the primetime premiere?

Did she? Is Tony going to testify under oath? What if he takes the 5th? The car story isn't the only story Tony Ornato denies happening while NOT under oath.
Quote:

Quote:
Around this time, [Pence's national security advisor Keith] Kellogg ran into Tony Ornato in the West Wing. Ornato, who oversaw Secret Service movements, told him that Pence's detail was planning to move the vice president to Joint Base Andrews. "You can't do that, Tony," Kellogg said. "Leave him where he's at. He's got a job to do. I know you guys too well. You'll fly him to Alaska if you have a chance. Don't do it."
Quote:

Quote:
Pence had made clear to [the lead special agent in charge of his protective detail Tim] Giebels the level of his determination and Kellogg said there was no changing it. "He's going to stay there," Kellogg told Ornato. "If he has to wait there all night, he's going to do it." Ornato, through a spokesman, denied having this conversation.

So the left is now going to roll with hearsay as their gotcha?

Hmm, that seems familiar. And it didn't work with an official impeachment much less a fake committee like this one.

They won't call him to testify.

We now have three people that have claimed she is lying, including Eric Herschmann who says he wrote the note, not her.

Quote:

"The handwritten note that Cassidy Hutchinson testified was written by her was in fact written by Eric Herschmann on January 6, 2021," a spokesperson for Herschmann told ABC News Tuesday evening.

This one detail does not subtract from the massive amount of evidence and testimony (mostly from Republicans in Trump's own administration) that clearly proves:
  • President Trump engaged in a massive effort to knowingly spread false and fraudulent information to the American public claiming the 2020 election was stolen from him. This action was taken after his staff investigated the claims and had told him his assertions were false.
  • President Trump planned to replace the Acting Attorney General, so that the Department of Justice would support his fake election claims.
  • President Trump pressured Vice President Pence to refuse to count certified electoral votes in violation of the US Constitution and the law. This action was taken after his lawyer, Eastman, admitted it was illegal.
  • President Trump pressured state election officials, and state legislators, to change election results.
  • President Trump instructed his legal team and other Trump associates to have Republicans create false electoral slates and transmit those slates to Congress and the National Archives.
  • President Trump summoned and assembled a mob in Washington and directed them to march on the US Capitol to stop the peaceful transfer of power, knowing they were armed (see yesterday's testimony). Trump also said in his speech that he would join the mob at the Capitol and we have testimony that his Secret Service detail would not allow him to attend.
  • As the violence was underway, President Trump not only ignored multiple pleas for assistance, failed to take immediate action to stop the violence, failed to instruct his supporters to leave the Capitol, but he also targeted the U.S. Vice President when he knew (testimony confirms) people in the Capitol were threatening his life.

Even if he lunged towards the steering wheel which has apparently been shown to be a lie...who cares?

Trump cultists don't care. There's a few moderates who will swing to agree that Orange Man Bad on Jan 6. Everyone else on the left already hated Trump anyway, so it changes nothing for them.

He also told the Oath Keepers or Proud Boys to "stand back and stand by." Very poor "choice" of words. Then he gave the "fight like hell" speech on Jan 6 when people around him were trying to get him to omit it. The fact, standing alone, that they would even set or participate in a rally on Jan 6 and tell people to march on the Capitol was irresponsible. His comments about Pence were too.

The biggest thing about yesterday was it was a window into his mindset that day, and it was not at all what you'd want it to be. However, I'm giving this a 48 hour rule and probably even longer after the Russia hoax. And I want to hear more from the USSS.

I don't know if any crimes were committed (other than the one on ketchup.) but I think we have firmly established that Orange Man was, in fact, BAD.

So, if one looks at the 2020 election in its entirety and suspects foul play, they are a Trump cultist? All of Keef's points are BS. Trump pressured, Trump engaged. Boo friggin' hoo. He realized the election was stolen and was trying - through LEGAL means - to get it overturned.

Trump explicitly told everyone to peacefully protest, yet you put more weight in the idea that the inferences you assign to him carry more weight.

Orange man had some bad points, but how much better would the US and the entire world be right now if mush-headed people ruled by their emotions and belief in lies fed to them by the MSM hadn't voted for Biden because of those bad points?

Thank you. I have been thinking that too. Even if the entire crazy story that has been refuted by multiple people was true, what does that prove? It makes Trump look bad for basically not controlling his anger, but it does not prove any kind of sedition attempt. Hard to take them seriously when they have never shown in the hearing where Trump said to march to the capitol "peacefully and patriotically". They have shown no actual evidence of him directing anyone to be violent that day that I've seen.

If only we had this level of insight into the Biden administration, Obama Administration, or anything Hillary Clinton. I bet a one-sided show like this would be more damaging to them than it has been for Trump. Imagine what all those phone records and selective witness testimonies without any cross examination could show. But, Republicans never play the same game, always on defense it seems.

The problem with your entire post is the widespread use of "false" and "fraudulent". You know full well that there is a mountain of evidence that the elections are suspect. Just because you won't look at it or don't hear it on the news doesn't mean it doesn't exist. So for me it boils down to this: is it more patriotic to willfully go along with a stolen election or to condemn the fraud and demand inquiry and accountability? For democracy to survive it has to be the latter. Unfortunately you and the press believe it's best to accept and turn away from it and move on which will only invite more corruption.

Even if true...this is what democrat politicians (and many republicans, but largely democrats) do. Like almost all they do. Lie. Look at what some very prominent democrat leaders are saying lately, esp in regards to some of the recent SCOTUS rulings. Literally calling for "payback"...while lying about the rulings to fool their base.
