Honestly with his medical issues and the medication he is on, this is reckless. I bet he is wearing long sleeves for a while because he is going to bruise like a peach.
He wasn't supposed to be back in DC before the afternoon on Monday anyway. But since it is a holiday, bet that gets stretched to Tuesday.annie88 said:clobby said:

He should be bruised and probably will not be able to move around well for three days. I guess it's good is in Delaware getting pumped up on the dementia medication. They may hide him for a few more days, and most likely lie about it.

Anyone with a discerning eye and basic understanding of dementia can observe from the asymmetric pattern of his gait that his motor, coordination, and balance skills are deteriorating as the disease process continues. Allowing him to ride a bike facilitates creating a significant danger to himself.
However, his increasing tendency to be self-assertive, argumentative, and even hostile towards others with opinions different from his are manifestations of his dementia, and he is presently in a position to overrule anyone who tells him he shouldn't be riding a bike or doing anything else he desires or deems appropriate.

Someone had to have made him wear it. You don't need a helmet unless you have something to protect and he doesn't.Sooper Jeenyus said:

I am certain the Biden bike fall will receive the same media treatment as Trump and the ramp... https://t.co/eQ3WdcWsXw pic.twitter.com/K9RZrRzo47

Never thought about it but this would explain much. Maybe we have a mass dementia event going on?Ghost91 said:sharpdressedman said:

Based on these symptoms, how do you tell dementia from simply being a member of the left?

Once again the White House staff has to walk something back for Joe.

In another post, we bring up an old tweet by White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates, who traded quips with Jennifer Rubin back during the 2020 campaign about never having seen President Trump run or ride a bike. We're not done with Bates yet. We're told the adults are back in charge, and we'd think a deputy press secretary would have put out something sensible, like, "President Biden fell off his bike today in Delaware but is unhurt; the president appreciates all the well-wishes."
But no … Bates rushed out a tweet intercutting between Trump descending that ramp at West Point which CNN's Chris Cillizza ensured us "mattered" very much and … some other stuff.

Basic comms 101: when your boss does something embarrassing like fall off a bike, don’t make it worse by doing this. https://t.co/sFlHuDS36w

I’ve never seen Trump with $6/gal gas, 9% inflation, fumble 2 wars in a season, or call VP and First Lady President (multiple times) either… guess there’s a lot Biden can do Trump hasn’t done. https://t.co/ELBZmpsrjC
