Even $10 gas would still be worth buying if it means a nice escape from the stresses of the real world.....First order of business is to peruse through the main ranger station and talk to a friendly federal employee about the hiking itinerary as well as any other must-do activities in the park - then its off to be one with nature, and escape to a land without political parties and foreign wars and inflation.

Our friend lucks into a great parking spot and eagerly begins to walk toward the station entrance...as he gets closer, a large sign thats propped up out front comes into view, and he squints to read it:

^This is the kind of voter that Joe Biden is best at connecting with....I tell this story to illustrate what the opposition is up against.

I was in visitor centers in 2 different national parks a couple weeks ago (Mesa Verde and Black Canyon of the Gunnison) and NO masks were required (nor were most people or employees wearing any).

If GTNP is requiring masks still someone needs to call them out on their BS.

No masks were required in Big Bend National Park buildings last week when I was there.

Add 2 more to the list. I was at Arches and Canyonlands National Parks near Moab, Utah in the last month and no masks were required there either.
