My wife is an educator. Over the years, she has witnessed a large increase in kids that simply won't behave. This year was the worst in her 30 year career. Kids cursing, hitting and biting teachers. Tearing up classrooms is normal for the 'students'. She attended a two day session last week on how teachers need to protect themselves and de-escalate the situation when it occurs. The instructor gave the reasons why kids are behaving this way. 'Problems at home', 'frustration with the lesson' and 'gender identity'. The instructor stressed the latter is a 'HUGE' problem these days. Funny how it was never an issue before in the previous 200,000 year history of our species…

Being in education- right now there are far more females pretending to be guys... Much more than 50/50.. Prob 80-90%..

Girls are motivated to come out as "non-binary" and/or a "guy" for three reasons, unfortunately:
1. Attention (simply being gay doesn't get it done anymore)
2. Deflects from being judged as ugly (when they were as a girl).
3. Gives them victim status cred.

If you want to label that "propaganda" then so be it, but generally that word is understood to mean false or misleading information to drive home a particular point of view. The 50-50 statistic is an overall rate among all age groups, the younger generation skews the data towards 50-50 by being more heavily skewed FTM, and it took a lot more young women to claim transgender to even out the decades of men claiming transgender.

Seems like it's kind of a replacement for body dysmorphia/eating disorders that they'd likely grow out of absent encouragement by their peers. No one was cheering anorexia/bulimia, but when people want to go to even more extremes than the norm experience of those conditions and people celebrate it.

I actually end up seeing quite a few transgender patients in my field (high rates of STIs and HIV in that population) but I'm not involved in their psychiatric/gender care generally speaking. I honestly don't think I've ever talked with a transgender patient about their gender dysphoria other than the relevant sexual history that extends from that.

In my line of work you see lots of people doing all sorts of things that are bad for them and I treat them all the same. Challenging their gender perception in my clinical setting is both not my job and not conducive to good patient care. If I don't develop some sort of reasonably good patient relationship they're going to just walk away and not going to get the care they need. A transgender patient not on treatment for their HIV is worse off than a transgender patient being treated for it, for example. Now if they ask me a specific question about it I'm obligated to answer to the best of my ability but that just doesn't really come up in my specific job.

This is what happens when you remove the profit motive, turn public schools into daycare centers, and impose a stupid policy that you cannot kick kids out of school for misbehaving. So all the behaving kids get to suffer as a result.

Public education: (1) Get rid of it, and (2) start with vouchers.
