these are just stupid buzzwords meant to inflame and divide, and come from a place of ignorance. Paxton relied on faulty data and his own hatred for the trans community. Hormonal treatments are a commonly used and accepted medical treatment for minors with GD. They are prescribed by doctors and psychologists who know a hell of a lot more about that condition than Paxton (and you, for that matter). Parents are following the advice of their doctors and Paxton wants to punish them for it, with the ultimate goal of eliminating trans people from Texas. It's cruel and unconscionable.

Also, minors cant get surgery. There is no genital "mutilation." Stop dishonestly using that word.

And why is gender dysmorphia the only delusional psychiatric condition psychiatrists choose to reinforce instead of treat. There are people who literally believe they havr a hand that does not belomg to them and want to chop it off.

in those cases psychiatrists spend coubtless hours and therapies convincing the person NOT to chop off their hand.

One of my former coworkers had his 7 yr old daughter sit across from him one day and calmly declare that she wanted to be a vegetarian...while eating a chicken tender at the Chick fil a they were at. Her best friend's family were all vegetarian and she thought it was a cool idea until she realized it would mean no more chicken tenders. Kids that age have no idea what they want and should not be making life altering decisions.
