I just found this picture of her celebrating a Mavs win from three weeks ago. The kids look different but it looks like her from the video and the seating location appears to be the same. Crazy if it is.

I see they've already doxxed the kid on twitter. I definitely went to prom with the woman in the video but the kid belongs to another person I went to high school with, also extremely wealthy. I won't post the street address but if you live in Dallas then you'd know just how nice the area is.

Putting myself in those shoes. Say my kid grew up to be an amazing Aggie football player (not possible for my little guy, but this is all hypothetical). Say he was the QB even. And he was playing tu in Austin the last game of the year to make it to the SEC championship game which a win would also boost to the NCAA Playoff. Say my kid threw 4 picks on balls I thought were all pass interference, the team is getting beat bad, and my son got pulled from the game. All the sudden a tu fan behind me that is probably talking a little bit of trash touches me, I'm probably not going to be happy about it either. Probably wouldn't claim it's assault, but I wouldn't be in a mood that probably has me thinking clearly, in an environment that wants to see my son fail.



That's kind of what happened last night. Chris Paul was in foul trouble all night over what Suns fans all over twitter are claiming were bad calls (paid the refs, NBA want's seven games, etc). He ends up fouling out with 9 minutes left in the game. The Suns were losing, and whoever wins this series will be in the conference finals. His mom and wife are in a hostile environment, with everything going wrong for the person they love and the team he plays for. Somebody that's been rooting for their son/husband's failure touches them in this very unenjoyable moment, and there was an overreaction.




Chris Paul is an ass for saying what he did to a teenager, but for all we know his mother could have told him the kid did something terrible to her. Overreacting parents/wives probably shouldn't be courtside.

1) I don't know the kid, but if I was judging a book by the cover I'd say the odds are very high he's a delta bravo. More likely just spoiled than a threat to anyone.

2) I have no idea why the context that this kid is likely rich and privledged means ditka, because there is very little chance he's anywhere near as rich and privileged as CP3's family

3) I met the families of quite a few pro basketball players - and I'd say the odds of them being spoiled delta bravos are also very high

4) no idea why he tapped her shoulder, but clearly it was unwelcome. So no issue ejected them.

5) that said, it was a tap to get her attention and doesn't come anywhere near warranting language like "put hands on", or CP3 challenging a high school kid to a fight like he's some sort of tough guy.

I'm guessing CP3 spends so much time around guys that can kick his ass that he's always in the look out for an opportunity to flex on someone he thinks can't

The kid is what, we know (or are estimating) he's 15? There's a reason the courts handle things different for minors.

No one should expect a 15 year old know or reasonably believe much of anything.

I'm by no means an NBA fan, I'd never go to a game anymore, and if CP said anything close to that to me, I'd encourage him to make his best move. With all that said, the NBA's practice of allowing fans too close to the floor and home fans right behind the visitors is just asking for trouble. BIG TROUBLE. Just like allowing visiting team locker rooms (not just NBA but in sporting events of all kinds) to be a half step up from a highway rest stop bathroom, the NBA has said clearly: "for the right price, you can harass the other team and the officials. So go for it! They make enough money."

That's disgusting. It all filters down to lower level sports, including kids leagues.

I'm sure the family has been to hundreds of games, so something outside of the norm happened or they wouldn't have sounded the alarm.
All Chris hears is his family was feeling threatened, he's just coming off an intense game, no surprise he reacted.

Will be interesting to hear what actually happened though. Because somewhere there was an over reaction. Either in how the kid acted or in how the family took it.

Either way, fan behavior is crap - last week you had the idiot running on the court, a few weeks ago an outfielder was pelted with something…how hard is it to understand that a game isn't about you as a fan just because you paid for your ticket like everyone else did?
