If we're being fair, not everyone calmly walked in to the Capitol. That being said, this stuff is reprehensible. It's one thing to protest outside someone's place of business, quite another to do so at their private home. The distinction between public and private is central to the reasoning in Roe, and it's kind of sad that seeming supporters of Roe don't get that. We need a return to proper civics education in this country, and a return to civil discourse rather than simply shouting at and trolling each other.Philip J Fry said:

Only if protesting against Democrats. Republicans are fair game. Will probably be able to legally murder conservatives if the Democrats get their way.SwigAg11 said:
I thought DC and Virginia had very specific laws against protesting outside homes like this?
F'in A.Quote:
If you want a return to civil discourse there has to be a few requirements met:
- rid the government of anybody who peddled the fake Russia story. Imprison the people who created the fake story and attempted the coup (hillary, comey, strzok, etc.)
- rid the government of anybody who voted to impeach trump for a phone call where they accused him of doing what Joe Biden actually did and bragged about. Which Biden did it to hide his own corruption while Trump did it to expose government corruption.
- have a true investigation into the 2020 election and arrest anybody who committed voter fraud and punish them to the fullest extent of the law.
- implement common sense voter laws such as voter ID
- stop treating protecting our nations borders as a partisan issue
- perform a real investigation into the origins and funding of the creation of Covid. Fauci needs to be held accountable.
- anybody who pushed a vaccine mandate needs to be removed from office for abuse of authority.
If you want a return to civil discourse then the first thing that must happen is the people that have put us in this position need to be held legally accountable. When the rule of law is ignored you create a situation where "civil discourse" goes out the window because people's voices and votes aren't heard.

That's the point. Kav and Roberts are the 2 most likely to be swing votes so they are doing everything they can to intimidate them and scare them into fearing for their personal safety and the safety of their families if they don't comply.YouBet said:
Not even the most conservative Justice. Democrats continue to be the most worthless of humans.

First, I don't think that's much a threat. They have the U.S. Marshal Service at their disposal. Second, I don't think either is swayable. Third, even if they were on the fence, I would expect them to sway towards Alito, thereby giving the left a giant middle finger. Not worried about it at all.aggie93 said:That's the point. If anyone is swayable it is them, Roberts seemed to have been swayed and intimidated on Obamacare with less. I don't expect them to actually change their votes but that's really not the point. It's just wrong on so many levels for this to be allowed to occur, this is quite literally how you end up with the entire system of government breaking down. It cannot be allowed to happen._mpaul said:First, I don't think that's much a threat. They have the U.S. Marshal Service at their disposal. Second, I don't think either is swayable. They need to arrest everyone outside a supreme court justice's house and give them the maximum fine and jail time.
Every. Single. Person.
